Our subsidiaries operate upon the markets of Baltic Sea basin states, with particular attention devoted to Poland and Lithuania, Belarus and Sweden. We undertake about one hundred various projects annually thus generating income at the level of EUR 330 million. The main scope of our entrepreneurial activity includes the construction of tram and railway lines, erection of bridges, roads, engineering objects as well as power supply network objects, industrial buildings and elements of natural environment engineering infrastructure. Moreover, we are also involved in housing estate developing activity. RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY LEADER OF RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION IN POLAND AND LITHUANIA 70 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE For seventy years now we have been executing projects involving comprehensive construction and modernisation of railway lines. We pride the possession at our disposal of highly professional and experienced project management staff responsible for the successful completion of largest construction objects on the territory of Poland and Lithuania. We employ construction works managers and construction site managers as well as construction engineers and inspectors within all industries indispensable for the swift and reliable execution of all our contracts. Moreover, we posses at our disposal one of the greatest machine parks in Poland, consisting of specialist railway network and catenary system maintenance and modernisation equipment and devices. We own railway engines and various types of railway carts and wagons, which amongst others allow us to transport construction materials and construction mineral aggregate. Railway construction industry CATENARY SYSTEM 8 MAINTENANCE TRAINS We execute comprehensive tasks within the scope of construction, repair, maintenance and upkeep of railway contact lines and catenary systems. In the process of execution of the aforementioned determined tasks we take advantage of our own specialist equipment, which is amongst others, constituted by maintenance trains and railway vehicles as well as railway cranes and pile driving devices. Thanks to our organisation we ensure the very high degree of mobility with our professional brigades capable to operate in 24/7 mode. We also undertake projects connected to construction of catenary system and contact line current converter plants and sectioning locations. We design and manufacture remote steering systems which are paired with catenary system railway power supply devices. Thanks to the multi-year experience within the scope electrification of the Polish railway system, the Trakcja Group has been able to successfully convey and complete largest railway modernisation projects in the last few years. 7
RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ENGINEERING OBJECTS BRIDGES OVERPASSES TUNNELS We convey independent modernisation and construction of various engineering objects incorporated as part of railway line systems. Each and every kilometre section of the railway system involves the necessity for the execution of construction works connected to even a few objects the fact that is frequently associated with given landform situation, or intersection of the railway line with rivers, communication paths for vehicles and pedestrians or objects dedicated to passenger traffic upon railway stations. In the case of certain investments the costs of construction of such objects as for instance: bridges, railway or road overpasses, passages, tunnels or underground paths and crossings may amount to as much as 30% of the costs of modernisation of a whole railway line. RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SPECIALIST SERVICES OUR OWN SPECIALIST RAILWAY AND GENERAL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT The Trakcja Group possesses specialist machine park which consists of various specialist machinery units, devices and vehicles which are indispensable in the process of construction of railway tracks as well as catenary system elements and other associated objects, which amongst others include: catenary maintenance trains, track renewal trains (TRT), tamping machines, gantry cranes, ballast cleaners, specialist self-unloading railway carts, pile driving devices, railway cranes, railway track laying and replacement devices, just to name a few which remain at our disposal. Thanks to our own rail diesel engines and the certificate of an independent railway speditor and transport company, we are able to independently supply materials directly to the location of execution of construction or maintenance works. All devices and vehicles remain in the hands of our experienced and trusted personnel. Moreover, we also possess general construction equipment at our disposal such as for instance: excavators, loaders, heavy goods vehicles, self-unloading trucks, cranes or independent cisterns which allow for the execution of undisrupted work in distant locations or for the supply of fuel to other entities. We also perform specialist welding of railway and tram tracks. In the year of 2016 the company Trakcja PRKiI purchased 100% shares of Bahn Technik Wrocław, the fact that enriched the Group with additional competences and potential in the sector of welding of railway and tram tracks and boosted our capability of carrying out other railway track works. 9 11
ROAD CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY The Trakcja Group enjoys abundance of experience in the construction and repair of roads, including express roads and highways. We undertake comprehensive execution of various projects in the role of a general contractor with the participation of subcontractors as well as also independently thus employing our own potential. We also carry out specialist tasks connected to the distribution of road surfaces, construction of engineering objects, construction of water removal and draining systems, lightening systems, sewerage waste systems and we also execute infrastructure devoted to cyclists and pedestrians. We possess our own bitumen mass manufacturing plant, which manufactures final products for the needs of our projects as well as for the benefit of external customers. MULTIYEAR EXPERIENCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR OF ROADS We operate upon the territory of almost half of all Polish provinces, mainly in Northern and Eastern Poland, thus executing about 40 road contracts annually. 311 13
POWER SUPPLY INDUSTRY Construction of catenary system and contact line current converter plants We manufacture catenary system and contact line current converter plants for the needs of tram, trolley and above all railway power supply systems, also in the form of sectioning locations and equip such locations with own manufactured distribution switch boards and switchgear. Power supply infrastructure 70 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN RAILWAY POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS The Trakcja Group renders services from the scope of construction, modernisation, repair as well as maintenance and upkeep of power supply infrastructure. We amongst others execute medium, high and highest voltage overhead and cable power supply transmission lines all performed by our experienced and highly qualified groups of assemblers. We also possess a well-developed and modern specialist machine park indispensable for the conveyance of power supply works, including amongst others: hoists, self-propelled cranes, braking machines, heavy goods carrying vehicles equipped with hydraulic truck mounted cranes. We convey works from the scope of assembly of lightening systems, fire protection installations, railway traffic steering and control systems as well as passenger infrastructure and other object safety systems characterised by significant dimensions for instance: Widzew Łódź Stadium. 313 15
MUNICIPAL RAILWAY TRANSPORT Railway and trolley lines We execute municipal railway track projects constituted by, amongst others, erection of tram and trolley bus catenary systems along with all auxiliary passenger infrastructure. We modernise line steering and power supply systems, including catenary system and contact line current converter plants and equip them with own manufactured power supply division switchboards. BUILDING CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY Exploitation and service oriented infrastructure The Trakcja Group builds and equips various types of objects associated with the exploitation of railway vehicles, for instance: train wash stations as well as service warehouses also housing administration functions. We also construct buildings within the scope of passenger infrastructure, such as for instance: underground passages, overpasses as well as railway traffic control objects and buildings. Housing estate developing activity HOUSING RESIDENCE AREAS, INDUSTRIAL OBJECTS We also convey housing estate developing activity, thus building individual houses, blocks of flats as well as whole housing residence areas. INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING SECTOR Average and low voltage distribution plants The Trakcja Group manufactures average and low voltage DC and AC switchgear and distribution plants. Considering the high degree of reliability and durability, our products enjoy staunch and appreciated recognition and popularity amongst our partners. For more than 50 years now catenary system switchgear and distribution plants are supplied for the needs of various railway projects and for a few years now our solutions are also being supplied for tram and trolleybus infrastructure development projects. We also undertake various individually placed orders. Auxiliary and supporting structures FOR 50 YEARS NOW WE SUPPLY LOW AND AVERAGE VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR AND DISTRIBUTION PLANTS We are the manufacturer of several types of auxiliary and supporting structures for railway catenary systems, which consist of almost 100 hundred self-manufactured elements. 317 21
PROJECT DESIGN WORKS Trakcja Group renders professional project design services within a number of various industries: road and railway, industrial and power supply. We prepare programme and spatial concepts, feasibility studies, construction and executive projects, cost estimates as well as other types of tender and construction documentation. The Trakcja Group executes tasks for the needs of investors, companies from the Trakcja Group as well as for the benefit of largest entities from the infrastructural construction industry in Poland.
