Dash The Dash life semi modular aluminium range of chairs incorporates 3 specific variants with a multitude of options to personalise the chair to the users specific prescription. All 3 options have been successfully tested for transportability uses to standard ISO7176-19 The back options are numerous to allow you to match the chairs to the clinical requirements. The RHealthcare Superhead folding head rest system will fit on models up to 20 (505mm) seat width The height of the backrests are all 45cm (18 ) as a standard with a 51cm high option In the folding back 0, 10, 15, 20 degree options are available as a factory fitted option Fixed back options offer a 0 or 10 degree angle on a 45cm high back for where a folding back is not appropriate, also ideal for using with 3rd party specialised back seating systems. The 4 strap tension adjustable back is optional on the folding and fixed backs giving great flexibility of choice and helping meet specific clinical needs. The tension adjustable back can be specified with the easy to operate quick release folding back brace should the user require additional rigidity and stability (This is a standard feature on both the reclining and bariatric versions of the ). The most unique part of the is its unique wheel axle block linked to the backrest slider and movable backrest post moulding. All three can be moved independently with the axle block being set in the standard position as the normal but with the clinician able to specify at time of order (at no cost) for the chair to be supplied in one of 3 other options- active, single amputee and double amputee thereby matching their issuing criteria and saving valuable clinic time in resetting the chair. Seat widths can be chosen between 12 and 20 when using the standard. Taking users weighing up to 135kgs (21 stone 3lb s). The Bariatric is available in 20, 22 or 24 seat width and is designed to take users weighing up to 190kgs (29 stone 11lb s) this is achieved by using our special triple cross brace system that was developed to best serve the needs of the bariatric user. The height adjustable arm rests provide great value and give the user and clinician many options. The arm pads themselves are easily height adjustable to allow perfect height for users either with or without a seat cushion. The arm rests swing completely away from the sides to aid side transfer and positioning. Further they can be simply detached/ attached at the flick of a catch. Full length arm rest pads are standard with shorter desk arm pads that fit the same arm rest available as an option for those maybe requiring to get closer to a table or work station top. The standard footrests on all chairs are both swing in and swing out offering additional options for user transfer. The footplate stem is adjustable to allow the clinician to set the footplates to the correct length for the user. The footplates themselves are flip up and angle adjustable giving greater opportunity to set the feet in the correct place. On all models a length adjustable fire retardant lap positioning belt is fitted as standard. The footplate stem is uniquely designed to accommodate both short and long legs with adjustability in ½ increments. The width of your seat size will determine the width of the footplates ensuring the gap between them remains small. The parking brakes are easy to operate by user or carer and feature a built in extendable by 50mm (2 ) brake lever as standard to aid those with dexterity issues. Using our unique wheel axle block the same chair can take 24, 22 and 135mm rear wheels onto the same frame. The seat to ground height can be between 16-20 by using the combination of wheels and castors to meet the requirements of the user be they attendant propelled, self propelling with hand rims or foot propelling. The comes with a folding back as standard. All models in the range come with padded back and padded seat canvas as standard. The reclining back is easy to operate for the attendant with simple levers on the push handles seamlessly moving the back on a double piston system between 0 and 30 degrees this avoids the distress that can be caused using a jerky ratchet system. Attendant brake options include retarding brakes that are operated by simple squeeze levers on the push handles or hub brake wheels available in 16 or 24 sizes. The front castor is a high specification modular angle adjustable castor with 8 diameter as standard. A 6 version with the same characteristics is available as a free of charge option. 4 5
