Durafirm Short Stands Durafirm short stands are designed for installation on concrete platforms typically built at the pool by your contractor. The short stand is suitable for one meter or three meter platforms. Railing configuration will depend on railings built on the platform. Pool Cover systems Pool Blankets Covers save money by eliminating heat loss from evaporation. A well designed cover system that is easy to install and remove will pay for itself in a short time, especially in outdoor applications where temperatures differences between water and air is larger than indoors, and other technologies (Heatsaver or Heat Exchangers) do not work. All of these covers are custom made to dimensions provided to ensure a proper fit. Covers come with 4" edging and 5 grommets evenly spaced along the short edges (on standard sized blankets, otherwise as required or requested) and 1" edging on the long edges. Lead straps are used to attach the cover to the roller, are normally 5' or 18" long, come with screws to attach them to the roller tube and the cover end of this strap slips over the Loop Tie which is provided with the blanket. To connect two blankets together to roll up the second section the Loop Ties just slip together so you can continue rolling the second blanket on top of the first. Most facilities can now get an automatic pool cover system with push button controllers. The pool covers are typically stored on wall mounted rollers. 6 Lawson Grating by Neptune Benson Lawson Grating makes high quality PVC Grating in two primary styles, with a wide range of sizes in each style. The material is the highest quality PVC for flexibility, strength, and UV protection. Lawson offers a 10 year warranty. The non-skid pattern has a coefficient of friction to 0.8 ASTM, the highest in the industry, and designed to be self draining to limit algae growth. Available in five standard colors, white, bone, tan, gray and black. The typical height is 1, and widths from 6 to 18 are standard. Cutting to non-standard widths, prefabricated corners, and Parallel Grating made to a specific radius are available as custom orders. Lawson Grating uses a hold down system consisting of small stainless steel clips which fit into a slot in the grating and are screwed in place every few feet for security.
