PRODUCT OVERVIEW FINE FILTER AND BACKFLOW PREVENTER 1
Fine filters activated carbon filters Fine filter FF Activated carbon filter AF Activated carbon cartridge Fine filter Rust and dirt particles, grains of sand, as well as scale and installation debris are held back, thus avoiding contact corrosion in the piping system and valve malfunctions etc. For hygiene reasons, filter maintenance needs to be carried out at least once every 6 months, or earlier if the dirt deposits on the filter cartridge require this. The water filter consists of the following parts: - Transparent plastic housing made of Trogamid T (highly shock-proof, pressure surge resistant, permanently transparent, stress-resistant) - Filter cartridge (polyamide support body with nylon fabric) - Brass head piece and union nut - Connections for differential pressure gauge All materials used are physiologically sound and comply with the German drinking water regulations. Has DVGW approval. Such impurities include odorous substances, flavours and dyes as well as other organic matter. In the water treatment industry, activated carbon filters are also used to remove oxidants such as chlorine and ozone. The activated carbon filter consists of a plastic filter housing with a vent screw. The filter element consists of an activated carbon cartridge with an outer and inner envelope around a polypropylene body. Fine filters with backwash option Fine filter with backwash option RF, threaded connection Fine filter with backwash option RFF-H, flange connection Automatic backwash RFF-RAM-H Rust and dirt particles, grains of sand, as well as scale and installation debris are held back, thus avoiding contact corrosion in the piping system and valve malfunctions. Since backwash and filtered water supply can take place simultaneously, uninterrupted plant operation is guaranteed, even during backwash. For hygiene reasons, filter maintenance needs to be carried out at least once every 6 months. Safety fittings Backflow prevention unit ST-C, threaded connection Backflow prevention unit ST-H DN, flange connection Safety fittings are compulsory for systems connected to the drinking water mains. They are used to prevent non-drinking water from entering the public water supply network by back-siphonage, backflow or pressure backflow. Secure relevant installations in accordance with DIN 1988-100, table A1. Our backflow prevention devices/units are DIN/DVGW-tested. Application of backflow prevention units The backflow prevention units ST-C/ST-H DN protect the drinking water system against fluids up to and including fluid category 4 as defined by EN 1717 and EN 12729. - Housing made of dezincification-resistant brass/powdercoated ductile iron - Filter insert made of high-grade stainless steel with integrated check valve and discharge valve - 3 brass ball valves for connection of a differential pressure gauge Backflow preventer DIN/DVGW-tested and approved DIN tested and approved mounting type 2 threaded connection 1 2 flange connection DN 65 DN 100 Product name Flow rate Hydraulic connection Response pressure Dimensions in mm Item Connection m³/h at ΔP = 1.0 bar RW/FILTRATE/WW bar L x H x W number ST-C ¾ 4.0 R ¾ / R ¾ / HT 1.5 227 x 103 x 44.5 340 054 ST-C 1 12.0 R 1 / R 1 / HT 1.5 280 x 100 x 72.5 340 053 ST-C 1 ¼ 15.0 R 1 ¼ / R 1 ¼ / HT 1.5 280 x 100 x 72.5 340 056 ST-C 1 ½ 25.0 R 1 ½ / R 1 ½ / HT 1.5 387 x 130 x 103.5 340 057 ST-C 2 35.0 R 2 / R 2 / HT 1.5 395 x 130 x 103.5 340 058 ST-H DN 65 35.8 DN 65 / DN 65 / HT 1.0 365 x 152 x 246 340 061 ST-H DN 80 54.3 DN 80 / DN 80 / HT 1.0 440 x 167 x 275 340 062 ST-H DN 100 108.0 DN 100 / DN 100 / HT 1.0 530 x 185 x 296 340 063 8
