ExtraEnergy PEDELEC & E-BIKE TEST 2011 VEHICLE DELIVERY DEADLINE: 4 April 2011 RIDING TEST: 11-22 April 2011 ERGONOMIC TEST: 1ST WEEKEND IN MAY 2011 PUBLISHED RESULTS: Summer 2011 1 ExtraEnergy e.v. - Koskauer Str. 100-07922 Tanna - Tel: +49 366 46 27 094 - Fax: +49 366 46 27 095

THE EXTRAENERGY PEDELEC & E-BIKE TEST EXTRAENERGY HAS BEEN TESTING PEDELECS AND E-BIKES SINCE 1992. At that time only three vehicles were established on the world market. Nowadays, about 30 vehicles participate in each testing and there has been a great demand for testing positions. Customers depend on ExtraEnerg test results to be published twice a year in different media online and in print. Our quality seals have been established since 1993 to help with a reliable purchase. THE EXTRAENERGY PEDELEC & E-BIKE TEST combines four different tests that take place on an outdoor test track to get a accurate picture of the vehicle on an every day usage. ->DRIVING TESTS in Tanna are conducted with a unique and special developed measuring technology. The parameter distance, support, efficiency of the drive, average speed etc. are determined for tour, hill and urban track. ->ERGONOMIC TEST evaluates every day usage and the intuitive usage of about 100 volunteers in changing European cities. ->MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY is checked completely at our partner labs at velotech.de and SLG GmbH and could allow acquiring the GS label, if desired. THE ENTIRE RESULT of the tests combines your information, the test results of ergonomic test, test drives and results of checking for mechanical and electrical savety. As a test participant you will receive your test results in addition in a detailled form for internal use and analyses. Any tests about mechanical and electrical safety are not published immediately but provided to you only. THE RESULTS are published consulting ExtraEnergy and other media online and in print. We secured a cooperation with Delius Klasing magazine E-Bike with a print-run of min. 60.000 while the ExtraEnergy magazine reaches downloads of at least 40.000. In addition, the so called product reports will be translated into English, Spanish and French and will be published on the corresponding websites of ExtraEnergy.org ( vehiculosverdes.com for Spain respectively). THE QUALITY SEALS Good and Very Good, as well as awards of products in 10 categories, according to results, offer you an excellent opportunity to showcase your products. We provide digital data for the purpose of advertising at no cost for you, if a quality seal is awarded. Seals as stickers can be purchased. We appreciate your interest and look forward getting to know you and your products! You will find all details about the test and registration on the following pages.
