A welding tractor for the use in pipeline construction. A full-track vehicle for the hard use on construction sites. The PIPEWELDTRAC is available in various editions for the different welding techniques. For welding with electrodes 4 to 6 inverters or 4 rectifier can be set up. For CRC internal automatic welding 4 pieces multi inverter or 4 rectifier are set up. For CRC external automatic welding an equipment of 2 pieces multi inverter or 2 rectifier is necessary. The basic model includes a hydraulic loading crane that can carry a maximum load of 870 kg at a derrick radius of 7 m. The lifting capacity is designed to carry conventional light welding tents (manual welding) and special automatic welding cabins up to 56.

Rectifier DC-400 The rectifier includes power sources wire feeder, and accessories for stick, TIG, semiautomatic and automatic welding applications. Welding consumables include carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and hardfacing products available as stick, wire and flux. The rectifier DC-400 has constant current for: innershield self-shielded flux cored arc welding, outershield gas shielded flux cored arc welding, gas metal arc welding, submerged arc welding, air carbon gouging, stick welding and TIG welding. It is fully compatible with automatic and semi-automatic remote wire feeders. Its performance is versatil and of top quality. There is no surge due to other welders starting or stopping. Multi-Inverter 500i The modern inverter technology enables you to use one power source for all welding techniques. This conception is specifically designed to enforce the use of the economical, highly requested MAG-Orbital welding technique in modern pipeline construction. By means of this device you are no longer depending on the supplier of the MAG-Orbital welding machine, but can use this power source on all brands. With this device, you have a power source at hand that can be used for MAG-Orbital welding and MAG-Pulse-Orbital welding with CRC weld heads P100, M200 and M220 as well as P200 with twin wire head. CRC has granted us their official approval. The pulse technique connected with the twin wire weld head ensures highest melting results and best possible mechanic quality for welding X 80 steel with the Multi-Inverter 500i. The construction has the same cooling system as the well-proven inverter PWS 350i. All electronic components are protected and not affected by cooling air. The current of max. 400 Ampere is sufficient to provide future technologies such as welding filler wires without use of protective gas at the construction site. The Multi-inverter 500i is freely programmable. If required, you can perform downhill welding technique with basic or cellulose electrodes or weld the root layer in WIG technique. The remote control allows control of the welding current that is infinitely variable from 10 400 Ampere and allows adjustment of the polarity +/-. This remote control just like the one for the PWS 350i is designed for the use on site in a sturdy box with an adhesivemagnet and a large control knob that allows precise adjustment of the welding current also when wearing welding gloves. The performance of this inverter enables a permitted load of 100 % when welding MAGtechnique. This brand new development initiated also by our company was introduced to the pipeline constructing industry by the beginning of 1999. Consider that - no matter which welding technique you choose - the Multi-Inverter 500i is always the ideal device for your purpose.
