In this exclusive appearance only from Hörmann Ribbed and panelled EcoClassic Single-skinned up to 3 m door width The single-skinned door is recommended for free-standing garages not requiring any thermal insulation. The sections are bonded on the inside to steel profiles without any rivets or welds. This special bonding technique, which has proved so successful in the automobile industry, gives the door increased stability and an anti-drumming effect whilst also ensuring an exceptionally quiet door action. Ideal for new buildings and renovating old ones Minimum sideroom and headroom required. Top fascia panel included as standard. For renovations screed flooring works are not necessary. All the sections are additionally reinforced all-round for greater rigidity and absolutely evenly filled with polyurethane rigid foam. (100 % CFC-free) EcoTherm sectional doors open and close quietly, offer high stability and excellent thermal insulation. Minimum headroom Due to the minimum headroom requirement and the standard top fascia panel for bridging lintel gaps up to 100 mm, the Hörmann Eco sectional door can be fitted to virtually any garage (see also pages 12-13). Reduced sideroom clearance No more than 90 mm sideroom is required. This is important, particularly when the door is fitted to older garages where space is often restricted. EcoTherm side doors are extremely practical The door leaf surround and door frame are made of coated aluminium extrusions (traffic white based on RAL 9016), 60 mm thick, and incorporate double seals to all sides. The double-skinned, 42 mm thick door leaf is filled with PU foam. The fittings: mortise lock with profile cylinder, black plastic round section handle set with oval roses, 3-way adjustable hinges. Beautiful glazings bring daylight benefits They save the need for an extra window and prove extremely beneficial if you intend using the garage also as a workshop.
