Blind Spot Monitor with Closing Vehicle Sensing These systems are designed to see what you might miss. Using discrete sensors hidden in the side and the rear bumpers, Blind Spot Monitoring alerts you via an icon displayed in the appropriate door mirror when a vehicle enters a blind spot on either side of your vehicle. If a vehicle approaches at speed from behind when changing lanes, the Closing Vehicle Sensing function will alert you to the potential dangers by flashing the icon in the door mirror. Reverse Traffic Detection Activated whilst reversing, this system works by informing the driver in the event of a vehicle approaching from either side which may present a hazard, with both audible and visual warnings. Active Driveline The Active Driveline delivers benefits in both on and off-road situations, for petrol drivetrains. In many on-road driving conditions, the system is able to disconnect drive to the rear of the vehicle, providing maximum two-wheel drive fuel economy. A sophisticated control strategy continuously monitors key vehicle and environmental parameters. If the requirements for four-wheel drive are met, the system seamlessly and imperceptibly reconnects the four-wheel drive system within 300 milliseconds. Parallel, Parking Exit and Perpendicular Parking Parallel Park identifies suitable parking spaces and automatically steers into the space whilst you operate the pedals. Parking exit provides the same assistance to manoeuvre out of the space. Perpendicular Park is an optional addition to the system. Truly useful in car parks and tight spaces, it automatically assesses whether the chosen space is wide enough before steering the vehicle centrally into place as the driver operates the pedals. Nine-speed Automatic Transmission Range Rover Evoque now features a class-leading nine-speed automatic transmission, 7.5kg lighter than the previous six-speed model. You will benefit from notable improvements in both fuel economy and CO2 emissions as well as greater control in low-grip conditions or when towing through the speciallydesigned, ultra-low first gear. Adaptive Cruise Control* Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is a radar based cruise control system that helps maintain a pre-set gap from the vehicle in front, even if it changes speed. Discretely mounted behind the front grille, it detects and monitors the vehicle s front and sets the most appropriate speed. Queue Assist adds to ACC functionality by ensuring the vehicle comes to a halt when it reaches a traffic queue. Intelligent Emergency Braking uses radar to detect vehicles travelling in the same direction and automatically reduces impact speed if it calculates that a frontal collision is unavoidable. KEY FEATURES Lane Departure Warning A forward-looking camera mounted ahead of the rear view mirror monitors the lane markings on both sides of the vehicle and gives the driver a warning when the vehicle drifts out of its lane without the indicators being triggered. The alert comes in the form of a discrete vibration through the steering wheel, allowing the driver to take the appropriate action. Traffic Sign Recognition This system scans the road ahead for certain traffic signals and displays them in the Message Centre in the instrument pack. The following signs are detected: speed limit signs, no-overtaking signs, variable overhead speed signs and traffic signs with extra information such as reduced speeds for wet roads. The system can be configured to provide speed alert warnings when the vehicle is travelling at or above the current speed limit, as well as warning of no-overtaking zones. Surround Camera System Using five digital cameras mounted around the vehicle, this system provides an all-round view of your surroundings on the full-colour Touch-screen, assisting in tight manoeuvring. When towing, it provides additional information to aid with reversing. Adaptive Xenon Headlamps With their signature design, these distinctive LED lights combine distinctive looks with real capability. Adaptive Xenon lights swivel to follow the road while static bending lamps follow the kerb to give the driver greater confidence at night. Powered Tailgate The tailgate can be opened using the key fob, a switch on the facia or operated independently using a button on the tailgate itself. A button located inside the tailgate allows the tailgate to be closed automatically. Wade Sensing Designed to aid you when the vehicle is wading, sensors in the door mirrors provide real-time information including the depth of the water and the vehicle s maximum wading capability. 60

Interior Mood Lighting With five colours and several brightness configurations to choose from, you can now select the interior lighting to suit your mood and create the perfect atmosphere. Dual View Touch-Screen This technology enables both the driver and front passenger to view independent display content via the Touch-screen. For example, while the driver is guided by the navigation system, the front seat passenger can watch a DVD. Audio The Meridian Sound System delivers superb acoustics and is noted for its excellent reproduction quality from all sources radio, CD, ipod or USB. The optional Meridian Surround Sound System features 17 speakers including a subwoofer for full surround sound. Climate Front Seats For the ultimate comfort whatever the temperature, Climate Front Seats are now available. This option provides both heated and cooled ventilation through perforations in the Oxford leather seats. Driver and passenger preferences can be independently controlled via the Touch-screen.
