Panoramic sunroof Adding to the inviting interior, the Kia Carens GSE model is fitted with an electric panoramic sunroof spanning the entire roof. Satellite navigation and premium sound system Featuring a large 7-inch LCD touch screen with rear view camera display support, the system also offers voice recognition and hands-free Bluetooth capability. ESC (Electronic Stability Control) If you have to brake suddenly, ESC applies the correct amount of brake pressure to each individual wheel. It also reduces engine power to help you maintain control and bring your Carens back on course. Advanced safety features for you and your family Cornering lights When you turn the steering wheel, an additional light is switched on to shine more light in corners at night. Hill Start Assist Control By maintaining brake grip until you accelerate, HAC prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards when starting on a steep hill. VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) VSM works in conjunction with Motor Driven Power Steering to ensure the car stays stable when simultaneously braking and cornering, especially on wet, slippery and rough roads. BAS (Brake Assist System) BAS detects emergency braking depending on how quickly you step on the brake pedal. It instantly applies full braking force, which helps shorten the overall braking distance. TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System alerts the driver via a warning light on the instrument cluster if the tyre pressure falls below the recommended level. 11
