Joint Procurement Strategy Over recent years, ADNOC group of companies (ADCO, ZADCO & ADMA-OPCO) have decided to consolidate the OCTG Procurement activities The consolidation objective is to optimize the cost, increase efficiency of supply chain and reduce the stocks levels with adequate inventory control measures Some of the Major Initiatives to enable such strategy are : Standardization of Material Specifications, Quality Assurance/ Control Procedures Standardization of Procurement Strategies, Common Suppliers/ Manufacturers. Unification of standard terms and conditions etc. Unification of Pre-qualification Standards for new bidders
Business Outlook ADMA-OPCO production capacity is expected to increase by 30% to 40%, due to development of new wells and subsequently the OCTG requirement is also expected to increase. Prequalification of New Suppliers/ Manufacturers are defined as one of the Key Milestones to achieve. A feasibility study of Total Vendor Management System is ongoing, where the different scenarios of managing the supply chain can be optimized for performance improvement.
