1. How your Powered Fixture works During the day, the solar converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the battery(s). At night, the lights turn on automatically using the electricity stored during that day (the ON/OFF button located near the first spotlight must be in the ON position). The number of hours the light stays on depends on your geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal sunlight availability. Place the solar in an area where it can receive direct sunlight for at least 8 hours each day. Shadowed locations will not allow the batteries to charge fully and will reduce the hours of nighttime lighting. The selected location should not be near nighttime light sources, such as porch lights, streetlights or pool lights, as these may cause the solar light to turn off prematurely. 2. How to position your spot lights Our LED spot lights produce a bright and focused light beam. The positionning may change the lighting effect. If you place the spot lights far from the area that you want to light (option1), you will get a diffused and equal lighting. If you want to achieve a more focused and bright lighting (option 2), install the spot lights closer to the object you want to illuminate. Option 1: Diffused lighting SOLAR PANEL Option 2: Focused lighting SOLAR PANEL SPOT LIGHTS GAZEBO ROOF SPOT LIGHTS GAZEBO ROOF 3. How to operate your spot lights 4. First time use This product is equiped with a light sensor (on the solar ) and an On/Off button (on the wire, close to the first spotlight). It also features a High-Low light output switch on the back of the solar. If the light sensor does not detect light it will be in "Nightime" mode and it will provide electricity to the spot lights when the switch is in the ON position. If the light intensity around the solar is too high, the unit will be in "Daytime" mode and no electricity will be sent to the spot lights no matter the position of the ON/OFF button. Place the solar in a location where it can receive a full 8 hours of sunlight to allow the rechargeable batteries to reach maximum capacity. To test your unit, wait until dusk and position the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to light the spot lights.
