1. How your Powered Fixture works During the day, the solar converts sunlight into electricity and recharges the battery(s). At night, the lights turn on automatically using the electricity stored during that day (the ON/OFF button located near the first spotlight must be in the ON position). The number of hours the light stays on depends on your geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal sunlight availability. Place the solar in an area where it can receive direct sunlight for at least 8 hours each day. Shadowed locations will not allow the batteries to charge fully and will reduce the hours of nighttime lighting. The selected location should not be near nighttime light sources, such as porch lights, streetlights or pool lights, as these may cause the solar light to turn off prematurely. 2. How to position your spot lights Our LED spot lights produce a bright and focused light beam. The positionning may change the lighting effect. If you place the spot lights far from the area that you want to light (option1), you will get a diffused and equal lighting. If you want to achieve a more focused and bright lighting (option 2), install the spot lights closer to the object you want to illuminate. Option 1: Diffused lighting SOLAR PANEL Option 2: Focused lighting SOLAR PANEL SPOT LIGHTS GAZEBO ROOF SPOT LIGHTS GAZEBO ROOF 3. How to operate your spot lights 4. First time use This product is equiped with a light sensor (on the solar ) and an On/Off button (on the wire, close to the first spotlight). It also features a High-Low light output switch on the back of the solar. If the light sensor does not detect light it will be in "Nightime" mode and it will provide electricity to the spot lights when the switch is in the ON position. If the light intensity around the solar is too high, the unit will be in "Daytime" mode and no electricity will be sent to the spot lights no matter the position of the ON/OFF button. Place the solar in a location where it can receive a full 8 hours of sunlight to allow the rechargeable batteries to reach maximum capacity. To test your unit, wait until dusk and position the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to light the spot lights.

5. Panel Assembly and Installation 5.1 Option 1: With the provided velcro straps. Attach the base, post and solar by pushing them firmly together. Use the provided velcro straps to secure the solar around an object. Depending on the size of the post, choose the large type or small attachment method. Loosen the wing nut to adjust the solar Wing nut straps Base Small pipe Big pipe 5.2 Option 2: With the screws. Use the provided screws to secure the base to the desired location. Distance between the screws should be 104 mm. Attach the base, the post and the solar by pushing them firmly together. Loosen the wing nut to adjust the solar Base Wing nut Screws 5.3 Option 3: With the spike. Attach the spike, the post sections and the solar by pressing them firmly together. Insert the solar assembly into the ground (see tips below). Loosen the wing nut to adjust the solar Wing nut TIPS If the soil is of a loose, sandy or organic type, grasp the post with both hands near the spike and firmly push into the ground. If the soil is hard, pour some water onto the ground to soften it. If the soil is stony, soften the ground with a rake or shovel and remove large rocks. Dig a small hole, insert the fixture spike, replace the soil and tap down. Spike

6. Spot Light Assembly and Installation 6.1 Option 1: On a large post. Tightly wrap the velcro around the post, secure it and cut the excess. Repeat the process for all the spotlights. Secure the wiring with the additional velcro provided. To adjust the angle of the spotlight, loosen up the adjustment screws, position the spotlight and retighten the screw. High-low switch NOTE: Do not point the spotlight at the solar as it will detect the light and shut off the electricity to the spotlights. Connect the gazebo light wire to the solar by pushing it into the solar back connector. There are 4 connectors slots in the back but only one with metal contacts inside. Plug the wire into the slot with the metal contacts. Back connector Adjustment screws 6.2 Option 2: On a small post. Remove one side of the velcro from the lamp. Pass the velcro around the post and in the bracket as shown in illustration. Pull on both side of the velcro until it holds the post tightly. Repeat the process for all the spotlights. Secure the wiring with the additional velcro provided. To adjust the angle of the spotlight, loosen up the adjustment screws, Position the spotlight and retighten the screw. NOTE: Do not point the spotlight at the solar as it will detect the light and shut off the electricity to the spotlights. 7. Battery Replacement NOTE: This operation should be done in the morning on a sunny day. This will allow the lantern to receive a full 8 hours of sunlight so that the rechargeable batteries can reach maximum capacity. Remove the battery cover by removing the 2 screws. Remove the old batteries and replace them with 2 new AA size 1.2V Rechargeable batteries of same or greater mah. Be sure to insert the batteries in the proper direction. Note: Clean the battery contacts and those of the device prior to battery installation. Replace the battery cover with the 2 screws. Batteries Battery compartment cover Screws 8. Troubleshooting If the light does not turn on at dusk after 8 hours of charging: Ensure that the solar is in a bright sunny location and not in a shady area during the day. Make sure that the s photocell is not affected by other light sources at night. Make sure that the ON/OFF button is in the ON position. Verify that the batteries are making contact with the terminal and that they have been inserted in the correct polarity. 9. CAUTION Safe for outdoor operation. Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to explode or leak. Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) or (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per manufacturer s recommendations. Remove batteries if consumed or if the product is to be left unused for a long period of time. REPLACEMENT PARTS MAY BE ORDERED BY USING THE FIXTURE MODEL NUMBER AND THE PART S NAME.
