Foreword ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the Directives, Part 2. The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. Amendment 1 to ISO 3767-1:1998 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 23, Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry, Subcommittee SC 14, Operator controls, operator symbols and other displays, operator manuals. Tractors, machinery for agriculture and forestry, powered lawn and garden equipment s for operator controls and other displays Part 1: Common symbols AMENDMENT 1: Additional symbols Page 11, Clause 7 Add the following new symbols at the end of the clause, after 7.40: form/shape description/application 7.41 Automatic operation; system, automatic management is used as a symbol element in a combined symbol, or in conjunction with a function symbol to indicate automatic operating mode. An alternative font may be used. Words and letters are not graphical symbols and are not registered separately in ISO 7000 Operator alert 7.42 is used to indicate that one or more function(s) or system(s) on the equipment is/are operating outside normal parameters in such a way as to require attention or further monitoring of the function or system, but not necessarily to require shutting down of the equipment. should be displayed as a black outline diamond and black exclamation mark on a yellow background. The yellow background may be extended beyond the limit of the black outline diamond. 2813 Do not use this symbol for alerting to personal safety hazards. 7.43 Return to initial state is used to identify the control which returns a device or setting to its original or initial state. 5495 Navigate menu options 7.44 is used to identify the control which moves through a menu of available options (selectable items). 2814 A second (down) arrow can be added to indicate bidirectional navigation.
