DCV-SP Pressure control unit SPC Version E07, SPC Version E08 Introduction DCV-SP is a pressure control unit that consists of a damper with damper actuator and SPC pressure controller with internal pressure sensor. The circular DCV-SP (Ø25-) is delivered factory assembled and calibrated. Other control units are delivered as construction kits with damper, damper actuator and controller separately. The control unit makes sectioning of the system possible. Different pressure requirements can be set to ensure flow and diffuser noise levels. Function DCV-SP quickly and accurately controls the pressure in a ventilation duct via signals from pressure sensors and control of a actuatorequipped damper. The control unit compensates for pressure changes in a duct by maintaining static pressure. The controller has a network connection. DCV-SP. An assembly with pressure controller SPC assembled on a damper with damper actuator. Access to parameters for setting and altering setpoints etc. is done via logging in directly on the controller or via LINDINSPECT/other parent system using the communications network. DCV-SP Circular The circular Ø25- control unit is delivered factory assembled and calibrated. DCV-SP-630 is only available as a construction kit including a special built rectangular 700x700 damper with circular 630 mm connection. SPC Pressure controller Introduction Pressure controller SPC compensates for pressure changes in a duct by maintaining static pressure. Function SPC quickly and accurately regulates the pressure in a ventilation duct through a damper with actuator. The controller makes possible sectioning of the system into different pressure requirements to ensure flow and diffuser noise levels. The supply or extract air duct is equipped with 2 pressure nipples of which is connected to the SPC via hose. The controller is equipped with an internal pressure sensors, but the external pressure sensor GPI can be used as an alternative. User interface The following user interfaces can be connected to SPC to create settings: Display device SDU with keypad, clear text messaging and LEDs for status. PC via USB-connected IR adapter U2IR. Mini-DUC CMA via communication loop using CAN protocol (LCCP). INSPECT or other parent system via mini-duc CMA and Modbus RTU. Alarms With SDU connected to SPC as a fixed panel, alarms can be indicated both acoustically via a buzzer or optically via an LED. Normal operation is indicated with an illuminated green LED. A static flow that is too low gives an acoustic alarm via buzzer and an optical alarm via blinking red LED. A differential pressure that is too high only gives an optical alarm, i.e. blinking red LED. The time before alarm is adjustable. The acoustic alarm can be acknowledged at the SDU. The buzzer can be deactivated. On connection to CAN loop, alarms are also transmitted and managed via the parent system. SPC Pressure controller. Calibration SPC is factory calibrated: Duct dimension is entered at configuration on site. All settings can be reset to factory settings. A typical installation with pressure controller SPC and a damper actuator on a damper. The hose for pressure measurement is fitted to the nearby exhaust silencer. SPM Circular damper without measurement device Introduction SPM is a throttle damper with an actuator bracket adapted for Lindinvent damper actuators. The damper requires very low torque to facilitate rapid and accurate regulation. Function SPM is used together with a pressure sensor for controlling air pressure. SPM can be used to control flow if it is used in combination with an airflow measurement device, see SMED or SMID. JSPM Rectangular damper Introduction JSPM is a louvre damper with a motor bracket adapted to Lindinvent damper actuators. PAD Damper actuator Introduction Damper actuator PAD is installed on dampers with actuator brackets. It controls circular dampers with dimensions from Ø25 to Ø630 mm and rectangular dampers with a maximum height of 700 mm. (See Torque below) PAD is activated by receiving signals from the connected controller. Function PAD is provided with both power and control signal via connected controller. When the control voltage is varied, it causes rotation in the damper axle link.
