The PWM output switching from any inverter using a long motor cable can cause an increase in the voltage at the motor terminals, depending on the cable length and inductance. The rise time and peak voltage can affect the service life of the motor. Flygt recommend using an output choke for motor cable lengths of m or more to ensure good motor service life. For UL-compliant installation, use Copper wir4 with a minimum insulation temperature rating of C (16 F).
