Use 60 Watt or smaller, 120 Volt, type A19 bulb. 2. Risk of fire. Only install lamp arm into clamp slot that is positioned vertically. Otherwise lamp arm may fall out of slot and cause a fire while turned on. 3. Do not leave lamp unattended when turned on. Supervise children when lamp is turned on. 4. Use in a dry location. 5. Do not use near flammable materials. 6. Read manual before set up and/or use. 7. Inspect before use. Do not use if parts are loose or damaged. 8. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this item. 9. Use eye protection. Wear ANSIapproved impact safety goggles when setting up this product. 10. Maintain products with care. Keep the Lamp clean for better and safer performance. Inspect the components periodically. If damaged, have it repaired by a qualified technician. 11. Avoid accidental burns. Do not touch the Bulb (not included) or the Aluminum Reflector while the Lamp is turned on. Turn off the Lamp and wait until the Bulb and Reflector are completely cool before touching. 12. 13. Cover the Magnifying Glass with a cloth if there is any chance that light from a window or bright light may shine on it for any length of time. Magnifying glasses can cause fires if light is directed through them at flammable surfaces. 14. Setup Instructions Read the entire Important Safety Information section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product. 1. The Clamp for the Lamp has two slots to insert the Lamp Arm Rod so the unit can be mounted on a table top or to a vertical surface. 2. Choose a location for the Lamp near the work area and route the power cord along a safe route to avoid a tripping hazard. 3. Attach the Clamp to a table or other sturdy surface 2" thick or less. Note: If needed, place a scrap of rubber or some other non-slip protective material (not included) on the table where you will secure the clamp to protect the table from becoming marked by the clamp. 4. To attach the Clamp: a. Loosen the Knob at the bottom of the Clamp and slide the Lower Arm down so the Clamp will fit the Table. b. Slide the Lower Arm of the clamp under the table and position the top of the Clamp on top, directly over the Lower Arm. c. Tighten the Knob until the clamp is secure. 5. Slide the Rod at the end of the Lamp Arm Assembly into the slot positioned vertically on the Clamp. 6. Thread a light bulb (not included) into the Lamp Socket. Note: Use a 60 Watt or smaller 120 Volt, A19 bulb. 7. Loosen, then tighten the Lock Knobs on the Arm Assembly to adjust the location of the Lamp. 8. Plug the Power Cord into a 120 V~ / 60 Hz outlet. 2. Position the Lamp as needed for the task. 3. Turn the Power Switch clockwise to turn the light on. 4. When finished working with the Lamp turn the Power Switch clockwise to turn the light off. CAUTION! Wait for the unit to cool down before touching. The light and Reflector will be hot from the heat of the bulb. WARNING! Cover the Magnifying Glass with a cloth if there is any chance that light from a window or bright light may shine on it for any length of time. Magnifying glasses can cause fires if light is directed through them at flammable surfaces. Maintenance Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician. To prevent SERIOUS injury from TOOL FAILURE: Do not use damaged equipment. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use. Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication 1. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for: leaking, swollen, or cracked batteries, loose hardware, misalignment or binding of parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. 2. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
