Warm up Run the engine at 1200 RPM for 2 minutes before accelerating to 1500 RPM for 5 to 10 minutes until an oil temperature of 50 o C and a Cylinder Head temperature of 130 o C is reached Run-up 1. Soaring Flight During unpowered flight, all unnecessary electrical equipment must be switched off to ensure sufficient electrical power to restart the engine. All large electrical current consumers (i.e. position and strobe lights, landing light) are switched off by an automatic relay.
