SACEMI was founded in the Sixties in Milan, but it was in the Veneto, in 1995, and more precisely at Noventa di Piave (Venice), that it consolidated and expanded its presence on the market of electric pumps for machine tools. The guiding idea is simple but clear: managerial management and responsible involvement of people. Production, based on standard and catalogue products, is practically managed by order and highly qualified co-workers implement highly driven production flexibility, fully encompassing the company s philosophy. Thanks to this formulation, not only does Sacemi sell its pumps on the national market, but it also places 30% of its turnover on foreign markets (Europe, the Far East, North America, Australia and China.) In 1996 with the establishment of GAMAR, a synergy was created to offer a production of electric motors, also with a non-standard version, in a market particularly inflated by the presence of many national and foreign manufacturers. Not large production numbers, but a niche product with a high technological content according to the specific requirements of the customers. This capacity to express innovation and production flexibility was made possible by optimising the ratio between investments in machinery, managerial capacity and valorisation of human resources. Thanks to the highly driven synergy between the two companies which merged in October 2009 to become SACEMI-GAMAR s.r.l., it was possible to give very fast responses to customers and a qualified service both for electric pumps bearing the SACEMI brand and for those bearing the GAMAR brand.
The production site of Sacemi-Gamar s.r.l., in Noventa di Piave (Ve) extends over an area of 12,000 square meters, 6,000 of which are covered. The company focuses on technology to improve speed and operating flexibility and on design oriented to satisfy market demands in real time. Technology, design and manufacturing of machine tools and everything that rotates around it, such as robotics and other automation systems, are strongly linked to the components, over which the electric pump and the electric motor are a part. Operating in this sector, the company is in contact with the various realities that constantly require new technologies and therefore offers itself as the complement of manufacturers of machines for the mechanical, glass, acclimatisation and air-conditioning, building, and liquids treatment industries, with a logic of integration among components, equipment and machines.

The production program includes a vast range of low and medium pressure electric plunger pumps in many different models, with steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass or plastic plunger designed for industrial applications and mainly for use in cooling, lubrication, washing and air-conditioning plants and anywhere where efficient water-oil emulsions and pure cutting oils are needed, with flow rates reaching 1,200 litres/min. and head of up to 100 metres. In particular, plunger pumps are designed from the point of view of reliability, reasonable running costs, user safety and total elimination of risks of the pumped liquids overflowing or leaking.
The electric pumps are fitted with 2-pole electric motors, with cage rotor, closed construction, with structure in pressure-cast aluminium alloy, with a vertical axis, cooled by external ventilation with class F (class H on request) winding and level IP 55 protection in compliance with IEC 60034-5 standards. The electric pumps can be supplied with motor both in the threephase and mono-phase version and on request, with special voltages and frequencies and thermal protection for heavy duty. The terminal board cover, fitted with cable clamps in compliance with international provisions, can be orientated over 360 and, on request, can be supplied in pressure-cast aluminium alloy or with incorporated switch. Rigid radial, double screen, pre-lubricated ball bearings are used, produced by the main European manufacturers. The pump body can be made in steel, pressure-cast aluminium, cast-iron, brass or plastic. The pump impeller is keyed onto the prolonged motor shaft.

From the Sacemi and Gamar synergies, a wide range of asynchronous electric three-phase and mono-phase and also self-braking with direct and alternate current electric motors is produced, with IEC60034, LVD 2006/95/CE, EMC 2004/108/CE, MD 2006/42/CE, RoHS 2002/95/CE construction characteristics. The production program currently includes three-phase asynchronous motors with power ranging from 0.06 to 18 kw, with axis heights from 56 to 160 millimetres. Knowledge of the product allows the technicians to offer, where needed, a wide range of solutions and to satisfying needs different from those envisaged by standard or traditional applications. Motors with special executions, mainly manufactured with flanges, shafts, structure forms and electric parts according to specification, are designed for targeted and sector applications: some of the best known ones are for ventilators, furnaces, conveyors, presses and machine tools. The components are made with modern machine tools, automatic coil winders, balancing systems and test benches to test every mechanical and electric functioning aspect. The internal equipment with flexible structure, allows a considerable reduction in the time required to make dies and equipment for casting motor bodies or personalised parts. The company s offer is able to solve the problems of the designers and manufacturers of industrial machines and plants for applications in a wide range of sectors. The main aim is the personalisation of motors according to the customer s needs, with a wide range suitable for solving the problems of drives with asynchronous motor. At the same time as the mechanical project, an electric project has been activated to allow a harmonic execution of the requested product. The tests laboratory not only carries out normal checks on the end product, but it also verifies all the samples and declares their compliance with the initial design.
