The Smart Wallbox will charge electric vehicles or hybrid vehicles with a Type 1 plug (BMW, Nissan, Audi...) or a Type 2 plug (Tesla, Renault, Mercedes,...) Yes the Smart Wallbox can charge a Tesla too! Tesla chargers can only charge Tesla cars even though they're the same plug if you try to charge a Mercedes Benz EV with the Tesla fast charger the plug will fit but it will not charge the car as they've put configured it only for Tesla. (same strategy as Apple) What are the most common plug types and can the Smart Wallbox adapt to both? There are 2 most common plug types in Australia.
