Wildcat System Instructions

NOTE: Most steps contained in these instructions will need to be repeated on the other side of the vehicle. Prior to assembly of windshield it is necessary to establish what parts are to be assembled according to how much of the Wide Open Company system you plan to use on your Wildcat. If you are just installing the windshield you will need to follow the Stand Alone Windshield manual. If you are installing the wiper or a heater system you will need to install them prior to installing the windshield. If you are installing either the wing windows or the roof panel it is necessary to install an upper windshield bracket and then you would follow the larger instruction manual. Wildcat System Instructions. Photo 1A Install lower windshield brackets with mounting flange to the inside. Slide upper windshield bracket down over front roll cage. A D is laser cut into the bracket to determine driver side Photo 1B Step 1 Install Windshield: (Photo 1A) A. Install the lower windshield brackets. There is a D or P laser cut into the lower windshield brackets determining driver or passenger side. Remove front roll cage bolts, (one side at a time) pry roll cage apart with a screw driver or a ratchet strap from opposite side of vehicle. Then slide the lower bracket into position and replace roll cage bolts. Leave the roll cage bolts loose, there will be a tightening sequence later in the instructions. (Refer to Photo 1B) B. Install upper Windshield bracket. Slide bracket down over the top of front roll cage. Photo 1C Install Center Clamp Bracket C. Install center clamp bracket. (Refer to Photo 1C) Position clamp bracket over top roll bar, line up holes to the windshield bracket. In the front (2) holes use (2) 1/4 x 1/2 BH bolts & 1/4 flat washers, run bolts through clamp, through windshield bracket and

secure with 1/4 flat washers and 1/4 thin nylock nut. For the rear holes use (2) 1/4 x 1 BH bolts 1/4 flat washers, put bolts through clamp and then through top of windshield bracket and secure with 1/4 flat washers and 1/4 nylock nuts. (Do Not Tighten at this time) Windshield Positioning Photo 1D Photo 1E Install Side Clamp Brackets D. Install the side clamp brackets. (Refer to Photo 1D) Position the clamp brackets over the roll bar, line up holes to the windshield bracket. In the outer holes use (2) 1/4 x 1/2 BH bolts and 1/4 flat washers. Run the bolts through clamp and into the weld nuts in the windshield bracket. In the inner holes use (2) 1/4 x 1/2 BH bolts and 1/4 flat washers, run through the clamps then through the windshield bracket and secure with 1/4 flat washers followed by 1/4 thin nylock nuts. (Do Not Tighten) E. Windshield Placement (Refer to Photo 1E) Place windshield on vehicle resting on the front of roll cage. Slide windshield down the roll cage until the lower seal of the windshield is sealing along the hood panel. Using (2) 1/4 x 1 1/4 BH bolts with black caps, run through the upper 2 holes in the windshield through slots in upper windshield bracket, secure on the inside with 1/4 flat washers and 1/4 nylock nuts. Using (4) 1/4 x 3/4 BH bolts with black caps run through lower holes in windshield through lower windshield brackets and secure on the back side using 1/4 flat washers and 1/4 nylock nuts.
