After sending the this project report to Mr. A.B.Lall, Plant Head of Tata Motors Ltd, Jamshedpur plant, no commitment was received from his office. On 24 th. Sep 12, I had visited his office along with our principal. Presented the project and asked for support of Rs. 6.5 Lacs for up gradation of electrical system. He has ensured to support us and asked for sending one letter with details. The attached draft was sent to him

Ref. :- LFS / Raja/2012 / 011 Date:- 25.09.2012 To Mr. Ajay Behari Lall, The Plant Head, M/s. Tata Motors Ltd, Jamshedpur 831010 Sub.:- Request for extending full support for making LFS an energy efficient school Respected sir, This refers our meeting with you on 24th. Sep 12 at your office along with our principal sister Hilday D suza. We, the member of eco-club had taken initiative to make our Little Flower school an energy efficient school. As you know that, most of the electrical appliances of our LFS were installed by Tata Motors ( earlier Telco ) from the initial stage of the school around 40 to 50 years back. The total electrical connects are very old, required frequent maintenance and consuming excessive electrical powers. Your electrical safety audit team had pointed out more 20 safety issues in one hour during July 2012. Resulted which the electrical consumption is very high ( average 4000 unit per month ). We have studied electrical appliances are being used in our school and our proposals are given here for your kind consideration. To reduce the electrical consumption by 40% we need replacement of old, non-efficient appliances of Rs. 6.5 Lacs ( approx.). We have tried our level best to make the below proposals accurate and based on the current market price in terms of recovery period. Proposal No. :- 1. Without any Investment & saving expected = 5% To reduce misuse of electricity by our students, staffs and teachers. We have conducted various awareness programs and started taking action on energy audit on regular basis. Our actions can be viewed in the video presentation available in link :- http://youtu.be/p21bt8nzyek Proposal No. :- 2 Investment of Rs. 77,500/- & recovery within three years For replacement of 200 nos. Tube lights of corridor and toilet by CFL.36,000 for replacement of 70 nos. Tube lights of black boards by CFL.

Proposal No. :- 3 Investment of Rs. 3.5 lacs & recovery within 5 years For replacement of 400 nos. Tube lights at class rooms with T5 light set. Proposal No. :- 4 Investment of Rs. 2.2 lacs & recovery within 8 years For replacement old 80W heavier ceiling fan by lighter 50W fan.. The final requirement can be reviewed in details by your team before extending actual support. With effective negotiation with different vendors and involvement of TML team the investment amount can be reduced. The guardians of our 70% students are working in TML / TDL / Telcon companies of Jamshedpur and we, all students of LFS are expecting your full support for making our school an energy efficient school. Which will help to reduce generation of Green House Gases also. With above actions and learning, we are sure that, the students of our school will take similar actions at their homes and ultimately the entire Telco township area will be come an energy efficient area in near future. With best regards Your sincerely ( Rajashree choudhury ) Captain of Junior Eeo-Club of little Flower school, Jamshedpur A student of class V, of little Flower school, Jamshedpur Ambassador of Jharkhand for Environmental protection by Tunza Eco-Generation.
