The Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy is dedicated to driving excellence and committed to road safety. That s why we ve developed a series of Drive Day events specifically designed to assist drivers become safer, smarter and more skilled on the road. These drive days will also provide drivers with the opportunity to experience the technology and performance of the Mercedes-Benz range of vehicles. Whether you re a novice or consider yourself an experienced driver you will gain vital road skills in a dynamic learning environment. Participation available to drivers between 18 years and 24 years who hold a valid probationary or full licence. The First Gear drive day has been specifically developed for young licensed drivers. It is intended to inform, educate and provide practical experience. It addresses the attitudes and behaviours that affect young drivers when they take to the road. Participation available to drivers over 25 years who hold a valid full licence. Practice and experience are the foundation of superior driving, especially in unexpected traffic situations. Understand the right way to master sudden manoeuvres or full braking in an emergency situation and to make the right decision in a split second. From the correct seating position to emergency braking, carefully developed simulated emergency situations will provide guaranteed improvement in your driving safety. We believe that the younger you develop confidence and defined driving skills, the safer you ll be on the road. The Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience drive day has been designed to provide motorists with skills and experiences to help them drive safely and confidently. Our team of professional Driving Instructors will guide you through a series of dynamic handling exercises that have been specifically developed to test the driver and show the technology and handling capabilities of the Mercedes-Benz range.
