Tractor Pull Rules General Rules for All Classes Everyone entering pit area must pay pit fee, sign insurance roster and display arm band at all times. Contestants will receive credit for pit pass against first entry fee. No alcoholic beverages on fairgrounds. Any participant will be disqualified from pull if believed to be a safety hazard and will be barred with no refund of entry fee. ONLY the driver will be permitted on a vehicle when it is being towed or driven. No rider in or on any vehicle, in pit, or track. This includes tow tractors, competing vehicles, tow back and maintenance equipment of any kind. When the pulling vehicle s motor is running the driver must be in the seat. Driver must remain seated and have at least one hand on the wheel at all times. No one is permitted on the track except for track officials and contestants. Track is defined as the area within 25 feet in any direction of the contest course boundaries, including the run-off area at the finish end of the track. All contestants must weigh-in prior to competition and may be subject to re-weigh and dyno check at any time. All weight frames and weights must be stationary and safely secured to the tractor. All tractors must have wheel brakes in working condition. Any rotating power take-off, if unable to be stopped by the driver, must be shielded. No drivers under 14 years of age. Any driver up to 18 years of age must have written consent from parent or guardian who must be present. Contestant must provide clevis or other steel hitch with minimum 3.5 opening large enough to accept hook from sled. The starting pull will be made from a tight chain with no jerking. Contestant will not begin pull until green flags are displayed by each track official. Each contestant will be given one try to pull the load, with second try granted if vehicle stops before front of sled passes 75 foot mark on first try. ALL DECISIONS BY TRACK JUDGE, SUPERINTENDENT AND OFFICIALS ARE FINAL!!!!! Anyone not abiding by above rules or creating a disturbance shall be subject to disqualification and ejection from the fairgrounds. NO REFUNDS!!! Field Farm Stock Tractors Tractors must be 2 wheel drive, stock block agricultural tractors with no visual engine modifications and rubber tires. Engine must be of original type or factory replacement. Original style hood and grille must be in place. Weight Classes 5,500#, 7,500#, 9,500#, 11,500 # Speed Limit 5,500# & 7,500# at 4 MPH, 9,500# at 5 MPH, & 11,500 at 6 MPH Disqualification after 100 on 1 horn by sled operator. Tires No cut tires or dual tires. No larger than 18.4 x 38 for 5,500#, 7,500# & 9,500# Hitch Stationary hitch required with no more than 1 movement in any direction and with maximum height of 20 on dirt to top of hitch. Intake No water, alcohol, or other accelerant. Turbocharger Limited to factory equipment. RPM Limited to 3000 RPM with random checks at discretion of judges. Tractors competing in Field Farm Stock classes may not compete in Open Farm Stock classes except they may compete in 13,500# Open Farm Stock. Open Farm Stock Tractors Tractors must be 2 wheel drive, stock block agricultural tractors with no visual engine modifications and rubber tires. Engine must be of original type or factory replacement. Original style hood and grille must be in place. Weight Classes 5,500#, 7,500#, 9,500#, 11,500#, 13,500# Speed Limit None Tires #5500, #7500, #9500 - No size limit. No dual tires. Cut tires permitted. Hitch - Stationary hitch required with no more than 1 movement in any direction and with maximum height of 20 on dirt to top of hitch. Intake No water, alcohol or other accelerant. Turbocharger Limited to single turbocharger no larger than 3 X 3. RPM Limited to 3000 RPM with random checks at discretion of judges. Tractors competing in Open Farm Stock classes may not compete in any Field Farm Stock classes. As noted above, Field Farm Stock tractors are allowed in the 13,500# Open Farm Stock class.

Tractor Pull Rules Hot Farm Tractors Weight Class 10,000# All Hot Farm tractors must be stock appearing agricultural tractors. All hoods, grills, fenders and frame must be stock appearing for make and model being pulled. Tractor must have a stock block or its factory replacement. OEM Stock Head. No Re-Cast Blocks/Heads. Intake spacer no greater than 1. 600 Cubic Inch Maxium. Diesel is the only acceptable fuel. A wide front-end is required. No pressurized fuel tanks are permitted. Water for cooling purposes of the turbo is permitted. No types of accelerants or oxygen extenders or the like are permitted. Tractors must be equipped with steel hitching device not more than 1.5 thick with a 3.5 diameter opening. Cross sectional thickness must be measured 1 min. to 1.5 max. Pulling point must not be more than 1.5 from back edge of the pulling device. Tractors must hitch to a stationary draw bar with a max. 20 height, and a minimum of 18 from the center of rear axle to the hitch point, a clevis is not permitted. Any loss of weights or excess fluids or any part of the tractor during the pull will result in a disqualification. Tarp straps are not allowed anywhere on the tractor. OEM stock intake and exhaust manifolds must be used for that series engine (alterations for turbo mounting ONLY are allowed). Legality of the injector pump by officials is based on the visual inspection of the outside housing and not the inner workings of the injector pump. No Billet Pumps. A PUMP: All A pumps must be derived from the German Bosch design. An intercooler is allowed. P PUMP: No intercooler allowed. No sigma pumps OR MW pumps are permitted. A single turbo-charger ONLY is permitted with the following: INTAKE 1. Intake housing to be no larger than 3.1 at the face of the wheel. 2. Compressor wheel must protrude into 3 bore. 3. Map width enhancement of.180 Maximum is permitted. Must be in OEM location 4. All Air flow must go through the turbo intake and map ring, no other air flow will be permitted, i.e. no drilled holes around the turbo intake. EXHAUST 1. Turbine wheel to be no less than 3.0 in diameter at intersection of turbine wheel face and tip diameter. 2. Turbine housing to be no larger than 3 at intersection of turbine wheel face and tip diameter. 3. All turbine wheel blades to protrude into 3 bore. All air must exit through 3 opening. 4. Exhaust housing will be measured at intersection of turbine wheel face and tip diameter. No waste gates permitted. No variable geometric turbochargers permitted. No clipping of turbo wheels to allow larger wheel in a smaller housing. 20.8 tires the largest allowed with cut tires permitted. All tractors must have wheelie bars that are able to support the weight of the tractor. Front weights may not extend more than 13 from center of rear axle to the front of weights. Rear weights may not extend more than 6 past rear tires, and may not interfere with hooking device or ability to hook and unhook the tractor from the sled. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Tractors must have steel engine side shields. Must run springs on Pump and have a dead-man throttle. Tractors must use an approved blanket on the transmission and clutch area. All engine fans must be shrouded with factory shroud or 1/16 thick steel shroud. All tractors must have a safety kill switch or an air shut-off. Each tractor must have a 2.5 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher accessible to the driver while operating the tractor. Each tractor must have at a minimum of a factory R.O.P.S. system capable of supporting the tractor at its heaviest weight class. The exhaust MUST discharge vertically and MUST have two (2) Grade 5 cross bolts (3/8 ) in the exhaust elbow or pipe. Bolts must be installed 90 degrees to each other and within one (1) inch of each other as close to turbo as possible. Driver must wear a motor sport designed helmet. (Snell 80 or higher). Driver must be a minimum of 18 years of age to pull in this class or if ages 16 or 17 must present a signed and notarized statement of permission from a parent or legal guardian, who must be present. All drivers must wear leather shoes and long pants.

8,000 LB RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG TRUCKS 1. Class will run at 8,000 lb. unless adjusted by officials. This class is open to any truck you brung. 2. It is required that all drivers wear a motor-sport designed helmet when participating. 6500 LB STREET LEGAL STOCK 4 X 4 TRUCKS 1. This is a pure street stock 4 x 4 truck class for owners of trucks that are legal for highway use. If you truck is street legal and is built to the rules set forth herein, you can enter this class. Proof of registration is needed for this class. Current registration, license plate and sticker tag must match and be valid for state of registration and vehicle must meet Pennsylvania inspection standards. A current inspection sticker is required for state of registration. 2. No dual wheels, studded tires, tire chains or any tire not specifically intended for street use are permitted. All tires must carry a D.O.T. number on the sidewall and be easily read from the outside of the tire. NO cut, altered or sharpened tires. 3. Weight class is 6,500 lbs. No weight brackets or hanging weights allowed on front of vehicles. Weights must be in cargo area and securely fastened or contained therein. No weights may be suspended under the body/chassis or behind panels/parts. No weights allowed under hood or in wheel wells. 4. Trucks in the class will be permitted to BUMP UP into the open stock class. Registration must be completed for higher class before event is started. 5. Front bumpers must be unaltered if factory stock. No weighted front devices are permitted. A truck is permitted to compete without a front bumper. A factory installed front brush guard and a factory snow plow frame only are acceptable but must be un-weighted (hollow brush guard). 6. The hitch point will be from the rear bumper only or from a Reese type hitch on a level with the point of attachment to the truck s frame behind the pumpkin of the rear end. No other types of hitches are permitted. Hitch point may not be more than 26 from ground. No trick hitches such as lever, pivot, axis or angled are allowed and hitch must be stationary in all directions. The hook point must be the furthest point to the rear of the truck. Hook point will be past the end of the bumper or if no bumper, past the furthest point past the bed of the truck. The driver must supply his own clevis which has a minimum of 3.5 inch opening to accommodate hook of sled. 7. No aluminum engine blocks are permitted unless O.E.M. No open headers will be allowed. Gasoline is the only fuel permitted. Absolutely no alcohol, nitrous oxide or other oxygen extenders. Turbo-blue and Cam-s are permitted. All exhaust must run through a muffler system. No superchargers or turbochargers unless O.E.M. 8. Factory suspension is mandatory for this class. No alterations. 9. Truck must be pure stock in appearance the condition the truck left the showroom floor when purchased by first owner. 10. It is highly recommended that all drivers wear a motor-sport designed helmet when participating.

6,500 LB OPEN STOCK 4 X 4 TRUCKS 1. This is an open street 4 x 4 truck class available to owners of trucks that are legal for highway use in the state of registration. If your truck is street legal and is built to the rules set forth herein, you can enter this class. Your registration papers are required to prove that the truck is licensed for street use. A license plate with current sticker tag is required to be affixed to the truck. Registration papers, license plate and sticker tag must match for the state in which truck is registered. Trucks may be hauled to the pull. 2. No dual wheels, studded tires, tire chains or any tire not specifically intended for street use are permitted. All tires must carry a D.O.T. number on the side wall. DOT number must be easily read from the outside of the tire. NO CUT, ALTERED OR SHARPENED TIRES. 3. Weight class is 6500 pounds. Weight brackets or hanging weights are allowed on front of vehicles. Weights cannot extend more than 60 inches from center line of front axle. No weights allowed under hood or in the wheel wells. No weights may be suspended under the body/chassis or behind panels/parts. No battery or fuel tank permitted on weight bracket. 4. Front bumpers must be UNALTERED if factory stock. Homemade bumpers, brush guards and winch brackets and brackets for snow plow frames are permitted so long as no modifications that would add weight are determined. Homemade bumpers and brush guards must be HOLLOW. A truck is permitted to compete without any front bumper. 5. The hitch point will be from the rear bumper only or from a REESE TYPE Hitch on a level plane with the point of attachment to the truck s frame behind the pumpkin of the rear end. No other types of hitches are permitted. Hitch point may not be more than 26" from the ground. No angled, lever, pivot, axis or other types of TRICK hitches are allowed and the hitch must be stationary in all directions. The hook point must be the furthest point to the back of the truck. Hook point must be past the bed of the truck if there is no bumper, or past the end of the bumper. Each truck driver must supply a twisted clevis that will accommodate a minimum of 3.5 inches across the opening to accept sled hook. 6. No aluminum engine blocks are permitted unless O.E.M. No open headers will be allowed. Gasoline is the only fuel permitted. Absolutely no alcohol, nitrous oxide or other oxygen extenders. Turbo blue and Cam-2 are permitted. Headers are approved but all exhaust must run through a muffler system. No superchargers or turbochargers unless O.E.M. for that model year. Engine swaps between manufacturers are NOT permitted. Exhaust must exit toward rear of cab. 7. No solid suspensions are permitted. Suspension must have a minimum of two inches of movement at all times. No blocks are allowed between axle housing and truck frame that would restrict the necessary two inches of movement. Lift kits are acceptable. 8. Truck must be stock in appearance. Bed must be O.E.M.. Wooden flatbeds are permitted. 9. The wheelbase may not be changed from original manufacturer. 10. The transmission and transfer case must be O.E.M. and available in one ton (or smaller) pick-up trucks. 11. It is required that all drivers wear a motor-sport designed helmet when participating. 12. Factory glass must remain in place.

8,500 LB STREET LEGAL DIESEL 4 X 4 TRUCKS 1. This is an open street legal diesel 4 x 4 truck class available to owners of trucks that are legal for highway use. If your truck is street legal and is built to the rules set forth herein, you can enter this class. Your registration papers are required to prove that the truck is licensed for street use in the state where licensed. Additionally, truck must meet Pennsylvania inspection standards. A license plate with a current sticker tag is required to be affixed to the truck. Registration paper, license plate and sticker tag must match. Trucks may be hauled to the pull. 2. Motor changes that increase horsepower over and above the factory rated horsepower or that increase RPMs over and above the factory rated range will be limited to changing of chips, air intake system (K & N and others) and exhaust systems. Only one O.E.M. injection pump allowed. The inducer bore on the atmosphere compressor housing may be no larger than 2.6 inches measured at the smallest diameter area of the compressor wheel. 3. No studded tires, tire chains or any tire not specifically intended for street use are permitted. All tires must carry a D.O.T. number on the sidewall. No cut, altered or sharpened tires. Trucks with factory dual rear wheels (2wd or 4wd) may enter and run in this class. 4. Weight class is 8,500 pounds. Front bumpers must be UNALTERED if factory stock. No hanging weighted front devices are permitted but homemade bumpers, brush guards and winch brackets and brackets for snow plow frames are permitted so long as no modifications that would add weight are determined. Homemade bumpers and brush guards must be HOLLOW. A truck is permitted to compete without any front bumper. Weights must be in cargo area and securely fastened or contained therein. No weights may be suspended under the body/chassis or behind panels/parts. No weights allowed under hood or in wheel wells. 5. Cross Bolts PPL Specs (nearest to the charger) are required if no muffler is used. NO superchargers are allowed. Exhaust may not exit to the side of the vehicles (towards the grandstand area). Engine swaps between manufacturers are not permitted. Only air to air intercoolers are allowed. Water or methanol injection is prohibited. 7. No solid suspensions are permitted. Suspension must have a minimum of two inches of movement at all times. No blocks are allowed between axle housing and truck frame THAT WOULD RESTRICT the necessary two inches of movement. Lift kits are acceptable. 8. Truck must be stock in appearance. Floor in bed must be solid. The wheelbase must not be changed from original manufacturer. Wooden flatbeds are permitted. 9. The transmission and transfer case must be O.E.M and available in one ton (or smaller) pick-up trucks. 10. It is highly recommended driver wear helmet when pulling.

8,500 LB. HOT DIESEL TRUCKS 1. Class will run at 8,500 lbs. Bodies must remain stock appearing with fire wall intact. Maximum wheelbase permitted 158. 2. Maximum engine size will be 460 cubic inches. Engine must come from factory in one ton or smaller pickup truck. Engine must remain in stock location as intended by manufacturer. 3. Hook point must be no closer than 48 of centerline of rear axle, hitch height maximum of 26, with a minimum of a 3 opening. Hitch point must be easily accessed. No trick type hitches permitted. Hitch must be stationary in all directions and the attachment point to the truck frame must be behind the pumpkin of the rear end. 4. Vehicles are limited to 2 turbochargers only. Single turbos are unlimited. For multiple turbos, the inducer bore on the atmosphere compressor housing(s) may be no larger than 3.0 inches measured at the smallest diameter area of the compressor wheel. A bushing may be used to downsize the compressor housing ahead of the wheel. If a bushing is used, it must be round, at least 3/4 inches long, mounted within 0.050 inch of the compressor wheel, and the inside diameter of the bushing may not exceed 3.0 inch limit. The inducer bore will be measured using a 3.05 inch plug. All privisions allowing air to the wheel other than via the bore are prohibited. 5. Exhaust must exit straight up, with (2) -3/8 inch bolts mounted in a cross pattern. 6. No cast iron clutches or flywheels permitted. 7. Fuel safety kill and/or air shutoff must be installed on rear of truck. Kill switch will be securely mounted to the back of the vehicle and have a two (2) inch diameter ring to attach the sled. 8. Fuel tanks and batteries may be moved but must be securely mounted. Fuel tanks, fuel lines and batteries are NOT permitted in cab of pulling vehicle. 9. Computer chips and boxes permitted. 10. Mechanical or electronic fuel injection permitted. Water injection permitted. 11. Must be D.O.T. approved tire. Maximum tire height 36. No studded tires or chains. No alteration to tires allowed. No bar or terra tires. Dual rear wheels are permitted. 12. Front weights must be no more than 60 from the center line of the front axle to forward most point and be securely fastened. Weights must be in cargo area and securely fastened or contained therein. No weights may be suspended under the body/chassis or behind panels/parts. No weights allowed under hood or in wheel wells. 13. Fuel limited to Diesel fuel and Bio-diesel only. No alcohol, nitrous, propane or any oxygen enhancing agents allowed. 14. Drive train will consist of the following: Any front axle, any transfer case, any rear axle. No planetaries permitted. Axle shields are required. Shield to be.060 thickness steel or aluminum. Shield not to be mounted to axle ends or hub bolts. A hole may be cut in one to allow locking in of hubs. 15. S.F.I Bell housing Blankets and/or S.F.I Blow proof Bell housings required 16. All U-joints must be shielded 360 degrees with 3/8 thick aluminum or 5/16 thick steel. Shield will be 6 inches long minimum and centered on U-joint. Inside diameter of shield will no more than 2 inches larger than U-joint. All intermediate shafts between the transmission and transfer case will be totally enclosed in 3/8 aluminum or 5/16 steel, ¼ of shaft may be visible. 17. Suspension modifications are permitted. Removable suspension blocks are permitted. 18. Fire Extinguishers, motor-sport designed helmets, and seatbelts required. Trucks may be trailered to the event.
