LiFePO4 aquawatt lithium batteries are made with advanced lithium iron phosphate cells. These are absolutely safe to operate and well established and proven. The weight is only 30% of conventional lead acid batteries with a much higher performance of 2.000 to 5.000 cycles. 100 % of the energy capacity can be used instantly compared to 60% from lead acid batteries Considering the high number of cycles and the exceptional efficiency these batteries are the most sustainable investment compared to other batteries. The voltage does not decrease under high loads which makes this battery a perfect power source for electric boats, vessels and vehicles. All aquawatt lithium batteries are suitable for quick charge. BMS aquawatt lithium batteries are equipped with an advanced battery management system (BMS) All cells are individually controlled and balanced. The system has a LCD display indicating all necessary information: Overall battery voltage Low and high cell voltage Charge- and discharge current Charged and discharged ampere hours The BMS controls the battery charger and the motor controller. This avoids under or overcharging.

When switching on, first this 12 V outlet is active. Then the system checks itself for errors and isolation leakage. If all parameters are in best order the 144 V mean outlet is switched on automatically. System troubles while running the engine results in cut off the 144 V mean outlet.
Custom detailing We manufacture batteries to custom requirements in different sizes, housings, voltages and capacities. One battery can be divided in 2 or 3 housings also. Aluminium or glass reinforced plastic aquawatt lithium batteries are available in standard or tailor made aluminium or grp housings. For special cases, especially for the use in inflatable boats, the charger can be integrated into the battery housing. Batteries in aluminium housing have to build in dry storage rooms. For open boats or for the use in cockpits grp housings are available. 12 Volt on board supply For 12V on board supply no additional 12 V battery is needed. This charger can be saved also. All aquawatt lithium batteries can be ordered with an additional 12V power outlet. The 12V outlet is isolated from mail outlet. It is short circuit proof. Power 100 watt, 300 watt or 600 watt.
Large capacity batteries For working boats, passengers farriers and stationary energy storage we can deliver extra large capacity batteries. Chargers The chargers supplied by aquawatt are made by the leading European manufacturer and configured for aquawatt batteries. These chargers correspond with the battery management and are controlled by the BMS. The chargers are based on high-frequency technology. So they are small and light as possible and easily can be built in boats or cars. So it is possible to charge at all available power outlets on the way. Please note this only make sense if a big wind turbine situated at shore is used. This wind turbines have rotor diameters up from 3m with a tower height from 6m.
Solar energy Solar energy can give 100% autonomous for a vessel if the solar array is big enough. For the use on board of a boat or vessel with not too powerful engines it makes sense up from 20m². For advanced use 80m² or more is recommended. Because of this, advanced solar on board power supply can be realised on catamaran designs only. We deliver all modules and components as well as complete solar boats. It is also possible to put up a adequately solar array at shore to charge smaller boats.
