Welcome to Wallbox Congratulations on your purchase of the revolutionary electric vehicle charging system designed with cuttingedge technology to satisfy your daily needs. This user guide will show you how to charge and will also give you the basic functionalities for your interaction with the Wallbox Pulsar. Once your Wallbox Commander is ready and powered on, you will operate through a 7inch touchscreen display. The software is specially designed to fully control and manage the charging process by simple commands, but remember that you will always be able to just plug and charge, it can be as simple as that. 1. Charge your vehicle To start charging your vehicle, just plug the conector to the vehicle, it will start charging. You will see the charging information by tapping on the Status icon. MAIN SCREEN This window shows that your Commander is either not connected or the charging process is completed. In this scenario the charger will show a fully charged message. CHARGING one hour Once the connection has been safely established the status window will appear in a blue color. The Real Time Dashboard will indicate the charging parameters: - Charging time - Time remaining to complete the charging - The power used - The quantity of kilometres that are charged per 2. Choose your vehicle Your wallbox Commander have a database of every electric vehicle that allows to show detailed information of the charging capacity, In order to see detailed information about the charging of your vehicle, customize your wallbox by selecting your vehicle model/brand. Select your vehicle from the list. From now on your electric vehicle will be displayed in the status menu and the stats displayed are now calculated based on the characteristics of your particular vehicle. 4/11
3. Connect to an internet network 3.1 Connect to a Wi-Fi network If you connect your Wallbox Commander to a Wi-Fi network, you will be able to update your charger and this will allow you to have access to all mywallbox advanced features and services. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list. 1. After selecting the Wi-Fi network, click on the password gap. A keyboard will appear where you will be able to write your password. Most Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive. 2. If the password is correct, a message indicating WiFi Network Connected will appear. It should appear on the top left of the screen. If this icon appears it means that is not connected. 3.2 Connect to an Ethernet network The ethernet port in your Commander is located inside the charger, behind the touch screen. When it is connected with an ethernet cable, it appears this icon on the top left of the screen. 4. Update the firmware Get the latest updates and features available. Check that your charger is connected to the Internet, should appear on the top left of the screen. 1. The system will start looking for updates 2. If the system finds an update, it will ask to install it and will ask to restart the charger 3. Once installation is finished, you can check the version installed going to settings and about 5/11
5. Create a schedule It is very common to schedule your charges for reasons ranging from available power, efficiency, costs or lifestyle programming. The Wallbox Commander uses a simple and intuitive interface that lets you define different hour intervals that can repeat daily or weekly. Select the days. Select the start and end time. Now you can select the days of the week and the time that will be charging. You can easily check or uncheck by pressing or sliding the button. Configure Energy cost You can monitor your daily/weekly/monthly charging sessions or customize the periods to be displayed. The information is presented in: Charging period leading Stats Escalade graph List of period sessions You can configure the cost of the electricity, it is set at 0,2 /kw by default. You will be able to see the statistics and graphs of your charging sessions. 7. Lock / Unlock When extra protection is needed you can secure your Wallbox Commander from non-authorized use. It is as simple as configuring a password. Once you have set up this numeric PIN, simply enter your passcode to unlock your device in the screen dialog. Autolock on Autolock off Set your 4-digit PIN If you want to lock your charger immediately, tap on the lock icon on the top left side of the screen. If you enter three times a wrong PIN number, the charger will be blocked and will ask for a PUK code. Please contact Wallbox or your distributor to get this code. 8. Synchronize data with mywallbox. To register on mywallbox, access to wallbox.com/mywallbox/ and select create an account. 1. Fill the user data, business data and the serial number of the Wallbox charger. 2. You will receive and email within 48 hours with the confirmation of your new account. 3. Once registered you will have access to the mywallbox web and Wallbox app. You will see the following information: - Real-time monitoring and Reporting Consumption Charging time Charging cost Charging usage - Charging profiles - Charging report (day/week/month/year) - Charging status (available, charging, online, online, error ) - Encrypted data communication 7/11
9. Download the app To download the app, scan de QR code or click on the image. Android ios Once downloaded and installed the app, it will ask for your mywallbox user name and password. Troubleshooting 10.1 General Charger does not power up No voltage supply Circuit Breaker is OFF or tripped. Turn ON the Circuit breaker. Check that the RCD is ON. Press the test button of the RCD, the RCD should turn off. Charging schedule has not started The vehicle is programmed for a later charging time. The vehicle is fully charged The vehicle has an error, check the vehicle The charging plug is not correctly connected, reconnect the plug The charging plug could be damaged or dirty Vehicle not fully charged or increased charging time or charging at low power When the vehicle is almost full, the charging begins to slow down. If the charger or the vehicle detects an elevated temperature, the power is reduced Charging cable plug cannot be disconnected The charge has not been ended by the vehicle. End the charging session from the vehicle or from the Wallbox. 9/11
10.2 Wi-Fi No Wi-Fi Coverage in the installation location If it is not possible to install the Wallbox Commander in another location, a Wi-Fi range extender could be a solution. If no Wi-Fi connection is possible, your Wallbox can be connected to internet with an ethernet cable. Wi-Fi Coverage but problems connecting Check your Wi-Fi and Internet connection. Try to connect with another device and check that the network is up and able to connect to the internet. Restart your Router Proceed to disconnect the line switch of the charger and wait one minute before reconnecting Check Cable Connections Open ports on your router To connect to the internet, your Wallbox Commander needs the following open ports: - TCP 80 Used for data transferring - UDP 123 Used for time synchronization Connect to a different Wi-Fi Network If you don t have another Wi-Fi network available, you can create a Wi-Fi network with your mobile phone. Try to create a new Wi-Fi hotspot connection with your mobile phone: To turn your phone on as a Wi-Fi hotspot: 1. Open your device's Settings app. 2. Under "Wireless & networks," tap More Tethering & portable hotspot. 3. Tap Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to switch it on or off. Tip: Switching on the hotspot for the first time fills in default settings, like a network name and password. Connect your Wallbox to this new Wi-Fi network. Disconnections from the Wi-Fi network If the charger has lost its Wi-Fi connection, just restart your Wallbox Commander and automatically it will connect again. If you have put incorrectly or saved different passwords for the same Wi-Fi connection and having issues, it is advisable to restore your charger. Go to Settings -> System -> Restore Warning messages Your network supply is continuously checked in order to assure safety operation, if one of these parameters is not in range the charger will impede to energize the vehicle and it will show a message on the screen: Unavailability of the charging station (F): The available current on the selector is set to 0. If the selector is correctly set, proceed to disconnect the line switch of the charger and wait one minute before reconnecting No power to the charging station (E): disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle, proceed to disconnect the line switch of the charger and wait one minute before reconnecting 10/11
10.3 Logs No charging logs appear on mywallbox / app No correct communication between the charger and Wallbox servers, please do a restore of the charger. Settings -> System -> Restore 11/11
