REACTS TO A HAZARD BEFORE YOU MIGHT FORWARD COLLISION WARNING By constantly keeping an eye out for vehicles ahead, Forward Collision Warning (FCW) reduces the stress of driving in heavy traffic. If the system determines that a collision may occur, you ll be given an instant visual and audible alert to help you avoid whatever is in your path. COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM If you happen to miss the FCW and a collision is likely, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) will go one step further by applying the brakes. This helps to mitigate the severity of an accident that s unavoidable. PAYS ATTENTION TO HELP KEEP YOU ON TRACK LANE DEPARTURE WARNING By reading the markings on the road beneath you, this technology triggers an on-screen message and sounds an audible alert if you accidentally cross into another lane without indicating.
