The APS range of products has been specifically conceived to allow the creation of individual workstations and work processes using modular components. bott plans and implements custom workstation systems. Our services start with analysis, design and planning in close cooperation with our partner - the customer. New production and logistics concepts place exacting demands on workstation design. Ergonomics bott optimises working conditions, not least for health reasons. Ergonomic aspects play a key role. There are many factors which affect an employee's sense of wellbeing at the workplace. The quality of the work environment, soundscape, lighting levels and of course the way a workplace is configured in all its different details. A properly planned workplace is conducive to staff health and wellbeing, and the high costs of occupational accidents and medical treatment can often be 'designed out'. The employees' radius of action is increased and their performance potential is enhanced, strengthening their motivation. So there are many ways in which it makes sense to adopt the latest approaches to modern workplace design. The whole focus of bott's modular system is on optimum flexibility and individuality, allowing it to be adapted quickly and easily to any size of individual sitting and/or standing. A system with lots of practical features With three different ways of adjusting the height, the benches adapt perfectly to their environment and to ergonomic requirements. The modular design allows different assembly and work stations to be connected and combined as required. Standardised components permit convenient and ergonomic access to and retrieval of assembly materials, aids and tools. Features such as the all-metal base unit and generously dimensioned legs guarantee total stability. Optional mount-on bench-top and overhead frames made from robust section steel permit the use of a wide range of accessories that can be positioned within easy ergonomic reach at just the right height. A robust, highly flexible and economical system Saves components when add-on modules are used. The tough modular construction, with units which the user can combine at will, also offers options for assembly on both sides. Up to 40% of procurement costs can be saved if the same assembly line is attached at the rear. The extremely robust metal frame makes the system so flexible that it can be re-configured to suit changed requirements at any time. Inserting and removing conveyor sections or buffer zones, altering working heights and fitting and removing accessories are quick and easy tasks.
