PAGE 3

ARMORED AND TACTICAL VEHICLES Our armored and tactical vehicles fulfill all the requirements of Defense and Homeland Security missions countries now have to face. From the Defense standpoint, this includes all combat reconnaissance, troop transport, support and liaison missions, as well as all tasks coming under the aegis of Ministries of the Interior such as crowd control, crisis management, border surveillance and the prison service. These vehicles can deploy command and control systems, complex weapons systems or emergency systems for fire trucks or ambulances. VOLVO GROUP GOVERNMENTAL SALES designs and manufactures families of 3.5 to 32 t, 4X4 and 8X8 armored and tactical vehicles, which can be customized as Defense or Homeland Security versions according to customer needs. The VAB Mk1, Ultima or Mk3, SHERPA LIGHT, VBL, VBR, PVP, ALTV, VLRA or BASTION families are widely used in the French Army (10,000 vehicles), and more than 20,000 other vehicles are also in service worldwide. MEDIUM ARMORED VEHICLES THE VAB RANGE RENAULT TRUCKS Defense offers a complete range of medium armored vehicles (15-25 t). The original VAB was developed for the French Army in 1976. Since its launch, it has been constantly upgraded to meet new battlefield threats and operational requirements. A family of vehicles has been developed around the basic design: 30 existing versions, such as the VAB Armored Personnel Carrier, the VAB Fire Support Vehicle, the VAB Homeland Security Vehicle, the VAB Anti-tank Missile Launcher, the VAB Ambulance/Medical Evacuation Vehicle, the VAB Reconnaissance Vehicle, etc. Today, some 5,000 units have been manufactured and are currently in service around the world. RENAULT TRUCKS Defense designed the VAB Mark III based on the concept of the original VAB. The VAB Mark III is a 20 t 6x6 medium armored vehicle which is as rugged and reliable as its famous predecessor but with far superior capabilities through the use of very advanced protection and mobility technologies: increased power and payload (up to 4.7 t), larger internal volume, better tactical situational awareness, reinforced protection (ballistic kit up to NATO level 4 + anti-blast and IED kits). The VAB Mark III is well suited for engagement and riot-control missions with the ability to transport up to 2+10 soldiers. The VAB Mark III is fully qualified and industrialized. Units have been produced in various versions and options on the series assembly line in the Limoges factory. The VAB Mark III is available in several versions on the same platform, including: Infantry Combat Vehicle (VCI), 3 (driver, gunner, chief) + 7 soldiers; weapon system: 1 remotely operated turret (20 to 30 mm); Armored Personnel Carrier (APC): 2 (driver, gunner) + 10 soldiers; weapon system: small caliber manned or remotely operated (7.62/12.7/14.5 mm); And also Intelligence/Surveillance/Targeting (ISTAR), 120 mm Mortar Carrier, Command Post, Ambulance, etc. PAGE 4

The VAB Mark III is able to climb a gradient of up to 60 %, negotiate a side slope of 40 % and cross a trench 0.9 m deep and a vertical obstacle 0.5 m high with a fording capability of 1.5 m. The hull is equipped with 2 front doors, 2 rear swing doors, a roof hatch, a cab windscreen defrosting system, and comes with a front area for the driver and commander, an engine compartment, a communication corridor, and a rear area for troops and equipment. A rear ramp and a roof interface for a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm self-defense machine gun turret are available as an option. From the ergonomics standpoint, the VAB Mark III offers excellent exterior vision, with a wide front windshield and side windows, and, as an option: a 360 surveillance system, a BMS (Battle Management System), a gunshot acoustic detector and a laser warning system. The VAB Mark III has an amphibious capability through the use of a propulsion kit: speed 8.5 km/h, removable front breakwater plate, 2 directional water jets, a GVW of 18.7 t and additional systems mounted on the hull for buoyancy. For already operational VABs (4,000 within the French Army, 1,000 abroad), an upgrading and enhancement program is to be provided to improve mobility by replacing the semi-automatic gearbox with an automatic one, boost braking performance by upgrading the system and adding ABS, enhance ballistic protection by adding composite add-on armor, upgrade safety by replacing the tail lights and improve comfort by replacing the front seats. Mine and IED protection can also be improved by adding a V-Shape and wheel arch guards, installing suspended seats, re-arranging the rear compartment and strengthening the ground connection to increase maximum driveline weight. These operations can extend the vehicle's service life and ensure its maintainability into the 2020s and beyond. HIGUARD Combining the excellent off-road mobility of the SHERPA MEDIUM 6x6 tactical truck and a heavily protected V-shaped armored cab (ballistic, mine and IED protection), RENAULT TRUCKS Defense s 20 t HIGUARD is ideally suited for tactical missions such as troop transport in asymmetric combat areas. Its large internal volume and payload accommodates up to 12 soldiers with their equipment. MIDS The MIDS is specially designed for public order and internal security missions. This vehicle, which has already been sold to many countries in Europe and the Middle-East is extremely mobile, well protected and able to cross any obstacle in urban areas. It offers a high degree of armored protection in its category and can carry up to 12 officers in both urban and rural settings. With its powerful Diesel engine and 4x2 or 4x4 driveline, the MIDS offers excellent urban mobility. The vehicle s technical characteristics allow for customization with the specialized equipment required for various missions. Renault Trucks Defense and Thales have developed the MIDS MOBILE COMMAND POST. This new solution has improved decision-making through multi-agency coordination and collaboration. Thanks to Thales s large events & crisis management systems as well as various C2 applications, onboard personnel are able to maintain complete situational awareness, even when the vehicle is on the move. PAGE 5

HIGH MOBILITY SOLUTIONS RENAULT TRUCKS Defense provides a complete range of transmission systems for 5 to 32 ton tactical vehicles, in a 4WD, 6WD (the special chassis of the Caesar from Nexter Systems) or 8WD (the VBCI infantry combat vehicle) configuration. LIGHT ARMORED AND TACTICAL VEHICLES (8-12 t) BASTION RANGE The BASTION range meets all the specifications of light forces in terms of protection, survivability and all-terrain mobility. The BASTION is in service in many countries and Special Forces. Its large internal volume, allowing it to embark a crew of 10 to 12 soldiers in accordance with current standards, makes it a leader in its category. It adapts to a wide variety of missions: troop transport, rapid intervention and assault, maintaining order, command and control, ambulance work, etc. The BASTION range includes various versions, which can be adapted and customized in terms of the equipment installed to meet our customers requirements as with the BASTION APC for troop transport and BASTION PATSAS, a semi-open-top developed with the French Special Forces. In 2012, ACMAT Defense launched a BASTION APC Extreme Mobility version with a 320 hp engine and independent suspensions. The BASTION PATSAS is a semi-open-top vehicle, developed with the French Special Forces. It can carry 2 + 3 soldiers. It is provided with a number of weapon mounts and its payload gives it a long operating range The BASTION HM (Extreme Mobility), a new version of the BASTION, is a troop transport vehicle with a high level of off-road mobility. This vehicle offers an excellent price/performance ratio in the light MRAP segment. It is provided with the BASTION s hull and the VAB s engine (320/340 hp instead of 180/215 hp for the BASTION), and has independent suspension which increases both its payload by more than 1.5 t as well as its mobility performance. The BASTION HM provides high levels of ballistic, anti-blast and IED protection. For homeland security applications, the BASTION APC Law Enforcement version is perfectly suited to law enforcement and public order operations. It can benefit from level 2 or 3 ballistic protection and level 2a and 2b anti-mine protection (NATO standard, STANAG 4569). Perfectly adapted to an armored personnel carrier role, it offers one of the largest available volumes in its category (9m 3 ), and can transport at least 10 officers. It is equipped with a crowd-monitoring camera for urban surveillance, and can also accommodate a wide variety of surveillance tools, as well as passive and active protection equipment. Its obstacle clearance qualities afford it excellent mobility in all circumstances and 1,000 km of operational autonomy. An obstacleclearing blade can also be mounted on this vehicle. PAGE 6

VLRA RANGE For more than 40 years, the VLRA (liaison, reconnaissance and support vehicle) from ACMAT Defense has been the tactical multi-purpose vehicle reference in the French army and in other armed forces. In 2010, the range was totally modernized in order to fully respond to users changing requirements: new engine, new braking and steering system, increase in payload by more than 1 t for each version, greater maneuverability and enhanced ergonomics in the cabin. Thus, the VLRA (that exists in both electronic and non-electronic drive versions) integrates cutting-edge technologies: a more powerful engine that meets the Euro 2 and Euro 5 emission standards, disconnectable ABS and a 5-speed automatic gearbox. With a range of 1,200 km and a 150-liter water tank, the VLRA s autonomy is exceptional. Its design, modularity, ruggedness, standardized components and low maintenance costs make it a vehicle particularly well-suited to operations in hostile environments. A new 6-wheel-drive version adds on to the 4-wheel-drive range, still accompanied by the renowned spares commonality across the range of products that makes for the success of the VLRA. The multipurpose vehicle can be configured to fulfill a wide variety of missions: personnel transport, cargo, shelter, tanker, ambulance, fire support, fire-fighting etc. Since 2010, 500 VLRA 2 have already been produced. SHERPA LIGHT RANGE In 2006, RENAULT TRUCKS Defense developed a completely new range of 4x4 tactical and light armored vehicles from 7.9 to 11 t: the Sherpa Light. The distinctive features of the SHERPA LIGHT are excellent all-terrain mobility and a huge payload. The SHERPA LIGHT is also designed to be fitted with add-on armor (ballistic, mine and IED kits) without losing mobility and payload (contrary to older vehicles). It is powered by a 215 hp RENAULT engine with huge torque (800 Nm at 1,200-1,700 rpm) meeting emission compliance up to Euro 5. The 0.6 m ground clearance of the vehicle also contributes to its high mobility and protection against mines and IED. The Sherpa Light is able to climb a gradient of up to 100 %, a side slope of 40 % or to cross a trench of 0.9 m. Its fording capacity is stated as being up to 1.5 m. The SHERPA LIGHT family consists of five different versions answering to all the needs of military and internal security forces. They share the same driveline to ease maintenance and decrease lifecycle costs but are available with different wheelbases, cabs, protection levels, weapon systems and equipment to respond to customers' specific needs. The SHERPA LIGHT SCOUT available in unarmored and armored variants is ideally suited for tactical missions such as scouting, patrol, convoy escort and command liaison. It is able to transport up to 4 or 5 soldiers and a roof-mounted weapon system. The SHERPA LIGHT STATION WAGON is fully armored and ideally suited for various tactical missions such as protected patrol and internal security, carrying weapon or mission systems for short range anti-aircraft defense. It is able to transport up to 5 soldiers and/or any weapon or mission system. The SHERPA LIGHT SPECIAL FORCES is ideally suited for long range off-road patrols. Its huge payload gives it a long operating range (ammunition, fuel, spare parts, military survival kit). PAGE 7

This vehicle is particularly well suited to the specific needs of Special Forces: five seats, open top and folding windscreen, mounts for weapons and special equipment. The SHERPA LIGHT CARRIER is dedicated to logistic missions in difficult terrains. It has a 2 soldiers cab and the capacity to transport up to 4.5 t of payload including a 10 feet shelter. Both the SCOUT and the CARRIER have been ordered by NATO while RENAULT TRUCKS Defense also secured an order for the CARRIER to transport the French army "Syracuse III" satellite communications shelters on the battlefield. The SHERPA LIGHT APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) is a 3-door protected troop transport version for up to 10 soldiers with their equipment. It is also able to accommodate any mission or weapon system thanks to a large internal volume. For security and public order applications, the SHERPA LIGHT APC can be used to project a team of 10 officers into a hostile situation or establish an armored mobile command center. The SHERPA LIGHT APC can be fitted with an assault ladder designed to support a special team during counter-terrorist, hostage rescue or police missions. The SHERPA LIGHT APC XL is used to project a team of 10 officers into a hostile situation or establish an armored mobile command center. It is also able to receive any mission or weapon system thanks to its large internal volume. Compared with the SHERPA LIGHT APC, it is an extended version and has four lateral doors. LIGHT ARMORED AND TACTICAL VEHICLES (3.5-6 t) PVP RANGE Due to the changes that have taken place in armed forces commitments, it has become necessary to protect CS (Combat Support) and CSS (Combat Service Support) units. The French Army has procured over 1,200 PVPs (Petit Véhicule Protégé - Small Protected Vehicle) developed by PANHARD Defense. The objective is to reinforce the mobility and protection capabilities of CS and CSS units. The vehicle was commissioned in 2009. The PVP serves as a benchmark in the 5 t armored vehicle range and has convinced two other customers outside France. The PVP has a capacity of 4.5 m 3, meaning there is enough room to fit it out in either the transport version or C2 (Command and Control) version. A system of rails fitted to the partitions allows the vehicle s inner layout to be modified and easily secure items of equipment. The PVP s payload comes to more than 1 t. A dozen different versions are already in use that can be tailored to the specific requirements of specialized units: traffic control units, engineer divers, EW, mine-clearing teams, drone remote-control teams, ambulance vehicles, etc. The PVP has outstanding mobility largely due to a weight / power ratio higher than 34 hp/t. This 5 t class protected vehicle s compact size makes it more maneuverable than its competitors in built-up areas. It can take on challenges in conflict areas and gives ready access to narrow lanes. Thanks to its powerful engine and automatic gearbox, it can also be used as an ATV (All- Terrain Vehicle) with good crossing capabilities. Tire inflation control from inside the cabin gives added versatility when moving onto soft terrain. Advanced studies and tests led to finalization of the PVP s ballistic protection. Its armor, made of steel and aluminum, provides level-2 (Stanag 4569) protection (corresponding to 7.62-mm PAGE 8

rounds), an unusual feature for such a light-weight vehicle. Great care was also devoted to countering the IED (Improvised Explosive Device) threat. Thanks to this protection, PVPs are well suited to a variety of theaters of operations. VBL RANGE The VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger Light Armored Vehicle), developed by PANHARD Defense, is on offer in about thirty different versions, with 2,300 vehicles sold to 16 countries, among which 1,600 to France. This is a versatile armored vehicle dedicated to reconnaissance and combat. The French Army has been using VBLs for about fifteen years. Thanks to the VB2L (Long Light Armored Vehicle), deployed forces have mobile CPs (Command Posts) at their disposal, enabling them to command and control first-line units. With VBL - a 4x4 armored vehicle weighing 4 t in combat configuration the customers can dispose of a 1 t payload and a crew of three. VBLs, with their stealthy shape and amphibious capability, provide the spearhead for reconnaissance units in the French Army and in many other countries. One of the VBLs many capabilities is its outstanding mobility, being fast and really agile when moving off-road due to its independent-wheel suspension. It is also amphibious, airtransportable, and air-droppable. In France, the contingency armored echelon is mainly equipped with VBLs. Airborne contingency forces are thus availed of armored assets. VBLs are now being used by sixteen countries around the world, including in desert and mountainous areas. Many customer countries have procured VBLs for a wide range of different purposes, including reconnaissance units, Presidential guard duties, or even for Special Forces operations. The VBL community includes 16 different countries and there are more than 2,300 armored vehicles in use. VBLs are perfectly designed for reconnaissance and patrol missions. Among the many countries armed forces convinced by this vehicle s versatility, we could mention the French 2 nd Hussars regiment that took them on for in-depth reconnaissance and targeting missions. Other more conventional combat units use VBLs to move alongside their MBTs (Main Battle Tanks). Weaponry, observation and EW (Electronic Warfare) systems can also be installed on VBLs, especially when it comes to carrying out border observation missions. To ensure the VBL's operational use through to 2030/2035, it is to be upgraded with a new gearbox to boost power and the power/weight ratio in particular. It will also see strengthened front suspension and a new rear suspension (upgrading from a trailing arm system to a double wishbone system) to cope with the vehicle's increased payload and improve roll behavior, plus incorporation of an ABS system. ALTV RANGE 800 units of the ALTV lightweight 4-wheel-drive developed by ACMAT Defense in 2009 have already been sold in a dozen countries. This all-terrain vehicle is designed to provide great tactical mobility with a high maximum speed and exceptional off-road performance. Its reinforced wheelbase supports a heavy payload of up to 1.4 t, one of the highest in this segment. It is equipped with a 190 hp engine enabling it to reach speeds of up to 160 km/h. The ALTV adapts to a wide range of missions: personnel transport, border surveillance, reconnaissance, patrols, ambulance, recovery, armored firing post, cargo carrier, armored van PAGE 9

etc. It is available in single and double cab PICKUP, TORPEDO, COMMAND CAR, CHECK- POINT and STATION WAGON versions. In protected version, it can be fitted with ballistic and mine protection. With its speed and great mobility, the ALTV PICKUP 4 is a true urban intercept and pursuit vehicle. Its excellent obstacle clearance capabilities make this 4x4 highly suited to extremely difficult terrain. Fitted with a 190 hp 4-cylinder engine, it is capable of transporting a 1.3 t payload and carrying up to 10 officers. This Homeland Security version has the following characteristics: flashing light bar, reinforced obstacle bumper, penetration flasher and an audible siren with speaker and amplifier. This vehicle is also equipped with a built-in mission system for reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition. THALES and ACMAT have pooled their expertise to equip the ALTV with a system for rapid identification of threats and to detect, observe, monitor and transmit orders. The main components include a thermal IR camera for day/night observation, surveillance radar and a ruggedized tactical terminal to display, digitize and record the field of view and individuals. It is also equipped with a PR4G radio communication system capable of intercepting and detecting enemy frequencies. TRUCKS Our families of trucks fulfill all logistics missions including fuel supply, heavy logistical transport (ammunition, water, spare parts, etc.), weapon or command system transport, personnel transport and breakdown assistance. The KERAX and MIDLUM 4X4 and 8X8 families, with a GVW of 14 to 42 t, provide a logistic transport capability. The SHERPA MEDIUM and VLRA STL 4X4 and 6X6 families, with a GVW of 8 to 21 t, fulfill the requirements of all front-line logistic tactical missions. TACTICAL TRUCKS SHERPA MEDIUM RANGE The SHERPA MEDIUM range family of 6x6 and 4x4 tactical trucks, developed by RENAULT TRUCKS Defense, provides outstanding strategic and tactical mobility to military units operating in extreme conditions worldwide. The SHERPA MEDIUM is also fitted with a protected cab (ballistic and mine kits) and a self-defense weapon. The fully air-transportable SHERPA MEDIUM is able to transport up to 7 t (SHERPA 5 version) and 12 t of payload (SHERPA 10 version). Variants are available with different wheelbases to respond to operators needs: shelter carrier (10-15 feet on SHERPA 5, 15-20 feet on SHERPA 10), troop transport (up to 18 soldiers on SHERPA 5 or 24 soldiers on SHERPA 10), tanker, weapon system carrier, etc. The SHERPA MEDIUM is already operational in the French army as a refueler and to carry a 155 mm self-propelled howitzer (Caesar). VLRA 2 STL For more than 40 years, the VLRA (Liaison, Reconnaissance and Support Vehicle) has been the reference tactical vehicle in the French army and in other armed forces. In 2010, the range was fully modernized to respond to users changing requirements, being provided with a new engine, new braking and steering system, greater payload by more than 1 t for each version, greater maneuverability and enhanced ergonomics in the cabin. The VLRA is available both with an electronic or non-electronic engine and integrates leading-edge PAGE 10

technologies including a more powerful power plant (meeting Euro 2 and Euro 5 emission standards), disconnectable ABS and a 5-speed automatic gearbox. With a range of up to 1,400 km and a 180-litre water tank, the VLRA is outstandingly mobile. Its design, modularity, ruggedness, standardized components and low maintenance costs make it a vehicle particularly well-suited to operations in hostile environments, notably in Africa and the Middle East, where its all-terrain performance has been proven under the most extreme conditions. A new 6x6 version adds on to the 4x4 range, still accompanied by the renowned spares commonality that makes for the success of the VLRA. The vehicle is designed to be multipurpose and can be configured to fulfill a wide variety of missions including personnel transport, cargo, shelter, tanker, ambulance, fire support, firefighting, etc. LOGISTICS TRUCKS KERAX RANGE The RENAULT TRUCKS Defense Kerax family of militarized rigid and tractor trucks is based on commercial vehicles adapted to meet the specific needs of armed forces. It is ideally suited for logistic missions and benefits from the low lifecycle costs of commercial vehicles. The KERAX can also be more extensively modified for tactical missions with enhanced off-road mobility and tactical air transport capacities. The KERAX 8x8 is a rigid logistic or tactical truck that can be fitted with a protected cab (ballistic and mine kits) and a self-defense weapon system. RENAULT TRUCKS Defense has developed and patented an innovative solution aimed at transporting 15,200 liters of fuel under heavy protection while ensuring the survivability of crews in the event of an ambush. This solution is based on the KERAX 8x8 logistical carrier, fitted with an armored 15,200 litre tank and a new armored cab. The Kerax 8x8 is also available in different versions. The Kerax 8x8 HEAVY DUTY is a tactical tractor capable of transporting a main battle tank or any equipment to the battlefield. GRANITE RANGE The GRANITE is a rugged and reliable truck developed by MACK Defense. It features a fuelefficient, 13-liter MACK MP8 engine that delivers plenty of horsepower, plus great low-end torque to provide customers with the muscle and endurance needed to support their operations. It is built on the proven MACK Cornerstone chassis that delivers rock-solid performance as it provides a constant frame rail height and sits high off the ground for maximum ground clearance over rough terrain. The GRANITE WATER/FUEL TANKER (345 hp torque up to 1,360 lb.-ft.) boasts a 3,170- gallon (12,000 L) tank built from durable 12-gauge stainless steel. It has a full width bumper and fender skirts, and comes with two hoses with male/female adaptors. It has a spare tire and carrier mounted to the rear of the tank along with a ladder for manhole access. This rugged performer has a driveline angle optimized for longer component life and minimal vibration. It is outfitted with sealed UniMax axle hubs that are maintenance free and require no servicing. The short distance from bumper to tire provides front-end swing clearance, outstanding wheel cuts and an exceptional turning radius. The GRANITE HEAVY TRACTOR (440 hp torque up to 1,660 lb.-ft.) is best suited for rugged vocational applications thanks to its powerful MP8 MaxiCruise engine. This vehicle performs equally well in both on- and off-road applications. It offers a high towing capacity as the MP8 engine is engineered to achieve maximum power density and torque. Add on its heavy-duty driveline, durable axles and high-strength steel alloy frame design, and the GRANITE HEAVY TRACTOR is built to get the job done day in - day out. The GRANITE WRECKER (440 hp torque up to 1,660 lb.-ft.) is a 30 t vehicle built to handle seriously heavy loads. It features a 60,000-lb. (27,360 kg) rated boom capacity offering a low profile. The boom can be raised and extended without repositioning the under lift. Optional dual controls mean you can operate the wrecker and under lift from either side, and the hydraulic system pressure gauges on the passenger side let you keep an eye on system performance. Dual 25,000-lb. (11,340 kg) winches with 200-foot (61 m) of wire rope are independently controlled. Both winches can operate together at full power. The winches also move with the boom so you don t have to reposition them every time you move. The independently controlled dual rear jacks quickly convert to spades for recovery work and back again for lifting. The GRANITE TROOP CARRIER (400 hp torque up to 1,460 lb.-ft.) benefits from a galvanized steel cab that is mounted on airbags and shock absorbers and stabilized with sway bars that soak up the rough road for a smooth ride. It is highly adaptable. The chassis is available in 14 configurations, each built with application-specific cross members. It also offers three frame rail thicknesses (8, 9.5 and 11.1 mm) with optional full or partial 5 mm inside channel reinforcements. Its body has seating for up to 42 in carrier mode (12 on each side, 18 in middle) and the seats fold up or can be removed. It has a steel tread plate floor with six D-ring tie downs, and the body doubles as a flatbed, with the capacity to hold ISO containers. It features durable roof supports and a single color tarp with 4 windows per side. Also available in single rear-axle configuration with reduced troop carrying capacities (4 2 and 4 4). PAGE 12
