The rotor is in the form of a ring. Their high power density enables high acceleration rates and hence short cycle times. In most cases a transmission system can be omitted when using a torque motor. HIWIN torque motors TMRW 3.1 Special characteristics of the TMRW torque motors TMR series torque motors are ready-to-install motor elements consisting of a stator and rotor, especially suitable for applications in machine tools. They differ from the TMR series by the integrated cooling channels in the stator. Through the liquid cooling higher continuous torques and at the same time lower motor temperatures are achieved, in order to avoid additional process heat in the machine tool.
