A VERY BRITISH PARTNERSHIP Exclusively designed for Morgan owners past and present, the three-piece watch collection pays homage to Morgan s most iconic cars - the Aero 8, Classic and 3 Wheeler. The collection marries both Christopher Ward and Morgan s engineering and design prowess having been collaboratively created by Christopher Ward Senior Designer, Adrian Buchmann, and Morgan Head of Design, Jonathan Wells. At the heart of each timepiece is a custom-made version of Christopher Ward s renowned in-house movement, Calibre SH21, hand-built by watchmakers at their atelier in Biel, Switzerland.
C1 MORGAN 3 WHEELER CHRONOMETER Housed in a dynamic and sleek Christopher Ward Grand Malvern case, the C1 Morgan 3 Wheeler Chronometer offers a number of visible parallels to the Morgan 3 Wheeler motorcar. It has been designed to echo the bygone aviation era which inspired the 1909 original as well as the 21st century technology of the modern version. The sandblasted black diamond-like carbon finish applied to Christopher Ward s premium C1 Grand Malvern case and the matte black dial give the C1 Morgan 3 Wheeler Chronometer a look that reveals its aviation roots. Inspired by the Morgan Classic s timeless design, the flowing lines of Christopher Ward s premium C1 Grand Malvern case capture the light perfectly presenting a sleek profile and understated elegance to compliment any Morgan owner s watch collection perfectly. With old and new logo alternatives available, a curved opalin dial, polished nickel indexes, elongated font for numerals 12 and 6 and a unique concentric circle motoring design on the watch s twin barrels, the sophistication and grace of the Morgan Classic is brought to life. The classic colimaçoné finish of the movement is shown through a crystal exhibition case back which also reveals a bespoke skeletonised bridge, with polished chamfers, inspired by the shape of the Classic s distinctive steering wheel design.
