It' s advisable in this case to find a connector equal to the stock one to make the connections, so as to make the installation reversible. Before powering for the first time, ensure that the cables of the fuel level and engine temperature are not live. To do this test, turn the key to "ON" position and with a tester, measure the voltage of these cables to ground. The measure must be 0. If voltage is present, you must disconnect the power from the sensor, as shown in diagram 1. To connect to a thermistor type fuel level sensor, you must use the FTD module, available separately. If the vehicle is not equipped with a dashboard, or some cables are not present in the stock connector, proceed connection directly on the cables of the electrical system or sensors according to the scheme 1. The abbreviation color is indicated in Table 1, Table 2 shows the components of the system. For measuring speed and distance, you can choose from one of the two configurations shown in the diagram, or take advantage of the Android device's GPS. If you choose this last option, the odometer will be increased only when the device is connected. If you do not intend to use all sampling channels, leave the wires disconnected isolating them thoroughly. Not all of the stock speed sensors are compatible with. If the speed is not detected, use the dedicated sensor, available separately.

To connect to the unit, tap the connect icon. If this is the first connection, the application will open a dialog box with a list of in-range devices. Select and wait for it to open a second window in which you must enter the PIN. The default PIN is 0000. Once connected, you must access the "Settings" menu by touching the gear icon, and set the configuration parameters. Menu configuration The menu is divided into sections, each relating to an indicator. The settings are saved on the unit, so they will have no effect if you change them when the unit is disconnected. TACHOMETER Max Rpm select the desired rpm scale for the tachometer Filter if the tachometer reading is unstable, adjust this value to smooth ignition coil noise
Page 6 Sparks Per 2 Revolutions The number of sparks that the coil from which the signal is taken produces every 2 revolutions of the crankshaft. If you do not know this value refer to Table 3. If you do not fall into the category indicated in Table 3, proceed experimentally. CYLINDERS COUNT COILS COUNT VALUE Table 3 1 1 1 or 2 2 1 2 2 2 1 or 2 3 3 1 or 2 4 1 4 4 2 2 4 4 1 or 2 Shift light Set rpm of shift light SPEEDOMETER Units Select whether you want the units in miles or kilometers Source Select whether to use the Android device's GPS or the speed sensor to determine the speed and distances Millimeters per pulse This value represents the millimeters of circumference of the wheel that exist between 2 pulses of the speed sensor. In practice, if one magnet is mounted directly on the wheel the value will be equal to the circumference of the wheel. If 3 magnets are mounted, the value will be equal to the circumference / 3. If the sensor is mounted on the front sprocket, apply the formula: [wheel circumference / (rear sprocket teeth / front sprocket teeth) / pole wheel teeth]. This setting has no effect if you are using the GPS as the source. Filter This setting allows you to adapt to different types of sensor. Increase the value until the speed indication is stable. To reset the trip meter, long press the lcd display area. ENGINE TEMPERATURE GAUGE Load File Transfer the selected calibration file to the unit.(firmware >= 1.6) Save Sensor Save the current sensor to file.(firmware >= 1.6) Sensor Type Select NTC or PTC temperature sensor. Sensor Resistance For future compatibility choose 1000 ohm.
Page 7 Auto Calibration Mode (Firmware < 1.6) while this mode is active, the sensor is calibrated. The Android device must be connected. Each time this function is activated, the previous calibration is canceled. Activate it with cold engine and leave it on until the engine reaches operating temperature. During this period the indicator bar will blink, and the readings will not be accurate. Now clear the automatic calibration mode and run the engine until the cooling fan starts, then select Set Max Now. Step Calibration (Firmware >= 1.6) A calibration thermometer is required for this step. The sensor must be heated slowly up to 120 C, following the instructions on the display, set the temperature steps every 5 C. It is advisable, to remove the sensor from the vehicle and calibrate it on a test bench, for example heating oil surrounding the sensor and the thermometer. Do not use fluids that can boil at temperature lower than 120 C. FUEL LEVEL GAUGE Mode- It's possible to choose between three modes of use of the fuel gauge area: Time, in case the vehicle is not equipped with level sensor; Lamp + Time if the vehicle is equipped with reserve sensor; Bar graph, if the vehicle is equipped with a variable resistance level sensor. Invert- Reverses the sampling of the sensor. Select if the fuel level shown is reversed Auto Calibration Mode while this mode is active, the sensor is calibrated. The Android device must be connected. Each time this function is activated, the previous calibration is canceled. Enable it when the tank is empty, and turn it off after a full. During this period the indicator bar will blink, and the readings will not be accurate. Sensor Bias measure the sensor resistance to ground. Choose the closest value to your measurement from this menu. Disconnect the sensor while measuring. GEAR INDICATOR Show If selected, shows the gear indicator. Start Gears Calibration - When connected, it starts the gear indicator calibration procedure. It is necessary to calibrate all gears, starting with the first. Insert the gear shown on the gear indicator display. When on the move, start recording by touching the rightmost display and drive for a short distance, taking care not to use the clutch during this period. After recording the current gear, the gear indicator display will show the next gear to record. Engage the next gear, and continue the process until the last gear is reached. Once the highest gear is recorded, wait about 60 seconds. The recorded values will be saved automatically to, and the dashboard will return to normal mode. If you make mistakes during the procedure, wait until the normal mode appears, and repeat the procedure again. The previously saved values will be overwritten. This procedure must be done on a straight road. N.B. If you use the GPS as speed source, the indication may be inaccurate during hard acceleration, deceleration
Page 8 and when driving on bends due to the low refresh rate of the internal GPS module. BLUETOOTH SETTINGS Connect Mode some devices require different connection settings. If you experience difficulty or failure in connecting the device to, try a different mode. Link To Power Launcher set GT as app to be launched when Power Launcher is enabled. Connect Automatically selecting this option the connection will be estabilished automatically when the application is launched. This is the only option that is saved on your Android device. Auto Bluetooth Off selecting this option, Bluetooth will be disabled when the app is closed. Bluetooth Pin if you want, set a different pin from the default one to prevent unwanted connections. If the new pin is forgotten, the default pin can be restored using the hard reset function. the new PIN, will be asked on the next connection. Forget Paired Device Select this option to connect to another unit, different from the last connected. Rotate Screen 180 - this option rotates the app 180, to leave the battery charger socket on the opposite side. About opens a dialog window, showing software, hardware, and firmware versions.
