Learnerships 5085 National Certificate: Professional Driving The purpose of the qualification is to ensure competent professional driving competence in the road transport sector This course is intended for drivers who are working or who intend on working in the commercial transport industry Qualification Rules: All the Fundamental Component Unit Standards are compulsory - 36 credits. All the Core Component Unit Standards are compulsory - 30 credits. For the Elective Component learners are required to attain at least 54 credits out of 63 possible credits, including at least one of the following: 1354: "Operate a vehicle combination", 0 credits. 1353: "Operate a rigid heavy vehicle", 15 credits.
