Please read this operation manual before you do anything, read all the indications, especially the warnings or conditions which might damage the device or hurt yourself, great attention is demanded. Please read the Safety Caution first to make sure proper operation, and safe keep it with warranty card for future reference. Introduction CHG series lead-acid battery charge is professionally designed for electric vehicle s batteries. It uses PLUS Width Modulation (PWM) technology and features by small size, easy installation, efficient transfer, longtime operation, stable current, high capacity, good reliability and long lifespan. Functions include short circuit protection, reverse connection protection, etc. 3-step charging mode Constant current: When the battery voltage is lower than charger s setting voltage, the charger will charge the battery with constant current. Constant voltage: The PWM technology can strictly control the charging current and output voltage, to ensure the battery is fully charged but avoid over charged. Floating charge: When the battery voltage is close to charger s setting voltage on constant voltage mode, and charging current drops to setting current, that is, the battery is fully charged, the indicator will changes to green. The charger will automatically transfer to floating mode. Remove the charger or float charging are both available.

Protections Short-circuits protection: when the output comes to short-circuit, the charger will shut off the output automatically to avoid battery damage.
Reverse connection protection: the reverse connection of positive and negative polar will not destroy the battery Charging Indication The initial stage: Red indicator means the charger is charging the battery with rated current The later stage: Green indicator means float charging to battery s latest 95%-100% power, please keep it for 2-3 hours; the battery will gain good performance. The Charging Procedures 1. Check if the battery rated voltage matches the charger s output voltage. 2. Connect the charger and battery correctly as required. 3. Check the charger s input voltage if it is same as AC voltage. 4. Check whether the indicator works when the charger comes to AC power 5. If the indicator doesn t work, please shut off the AC power, and check if there is wrong with AC power, battery or related connections. 6. When fully charged, please shut off the AC power first and then disconnect the battery Safety cautions 1. The device is designed for 12V lead-acid battery, can not use as power supply for other electronics. 2. The device inside has high voltage with danger, the user or non-professional technician are prohibited to open the device, please contact with your local distributor or manufacturer once breaks down 3. Since heat will produce when charging, the device and battery should be put on ventilative room, moisture, heating, inflammable or explosive environment is prohibited to use the device. Note: Under reverse connection protection, the device does not have output voltage when it does not connect with battery. Once connected, the device has output voltage.
