HID optic and latch Cylindrical polycarbonate lens LED optic Latched gear compartment specification The luminaire shall consist of a high pressure die-cast aluminium that conforms to EN1706 AC-44100 gear and optical chamber along with a cylindrical polycarbonate lens. CONUS incorporates integral electronic gear or an LED driver to control both high intensity discharge or LED light sources. The optical arrangement consists of a internal anodised aluminium reflector for HID and an extruded aluminium heat sink that incorporates the bespoke LED PCB with dedicated individual lenses incorporated within a clear cylindrical polycarbonate lens providing a symmetrical, asymmetrical or long and narrow distribution. Access to the optic, lamp and control gear chamber shall be tool-less via a single latch. The control gear can be accessed via two tool less spring latches. CONUS has been specifically designed for post top mounting with a range of bespoke columns.
