Salter Collection consists of 47,021 items including railroad related photographs, negatives, slides, timetables/schedules, maps, posters, books including Official Guides, correspondence and model trains of various scales. The family of the late David W. Salter donated his collections to the Southern Museum in May 2010. Single photocopies are available for research purposes only for a nominal fee. Sallie Loy, Richard Hillman, Daniel Pete and volunteers processed these photographs in 2010-2011.
