Introduction History of Oil Exploration in Sudan goes back to1959 when AGIP oil Company licensed the Red Sea Coast of Sudan. Many International Oil Companies had worked in Sudan e.g. Chevron, Total, AGIP, Sun oil, CNPC,PETRONS,ONGC etc. Oil and Gas business in Sudan is administrated by the Ministry of Petroleum & Minerals (Polices and Plans). Concession obtaining will start with courtesy visit to review the current opportunities then followed by data review, expression of interest, negotiation then contract signature. 4

Upstream Gas Utilization Projects Gas to Liquid Plant (GTL) Project Objectives: To process the produced associated gas To convert gas to liquid i.e. fuel (Benzene & Diesel) To produce LPG. Duration 18 Months Estimated Cost 70 Million USD NPV @ 12.5% DR = 124 M$ Project Economics IRR: 42% Payback Period (PBP) = 2.4 Yr 8
Upstream Natural Gas Utilization Initiatives Project Title: Al Fula Town Power Plant Gas supply project. Project Objective :To Construct,gather and treat around 100 MMSCFD to supply Al Fula town power plant and produce around 3000 Barrel of condensate and 350 tons of LPG per day. Description :Associated gas from Block 6 and Block 4 will be gathered and processed in Moga field to produce treated gas, LPG and condensate, Treated gas will be transferred through pipeline to Fula town power plant. Project Duration : FEED was carried out by SPG Steiner Germany and completed on May, 2016, 20 months estimated for EPCC phase (5 months for Detail Design + 15 months for PC Phase). Project Cost Estimation : 280 MMUSD. Project Location: Facilities will be located in Block 6 and Block 4, CPF for gas processing will be located in Moga Field Block 6. 9

Downstream Port Sudan Refinery Project Building a new refinery and petrochemical complex (4 km² area is available adjacent to the old refinery) The designated area is 8 km south of Port Sudan City. Crude oil to be supplied by investor. 11
Downstream Haya - Gadarif - Galabat Products Pipe line Project Multi-products pipeline with a length of 675km. Distributing domestically of the products to the cities of Kasala & Gadarif for next 20 years. Export products carrier to Ethiopia with initially 144,000 ton/year (could be increased in the future). 12
