Press control lock PS Type pproved ccording to DIN EN 693 Description The press control locks PS in the nominl sizes 06 nd 0 re modulr control locks with EC type pprovl for use in hydrulic presses ccording to the DIN EN 693 sfety regultions. The hydrulic control system conforms to performnce level PL e ccording to DIN EN ISO 3849. y using other sfety-relted control system prts, the performnce level PL e cn lso e chieved for the entire mchine. Due to its modulr design, the hydrulic control system cn e dpted to the functionl requirements of the press. A complete hydrulic control system is mde up t lest of the sic module nd counterlnce module. The sic module includes the pump s pressure djustment, the direction control for the press, nd the option of decompressing the piston side of the press cylinder. It lso includes protection ginst un desirle pressure uild-up on the piston side of the press cylinder required in DIN EN 693. The counterlnce module hs direct-cting pressure relief vlve for limiting ginst pressure intensifiction on the ring side of the press cylinder nd monitored directionl vlve. Together with the monitored direction vlve in the sic module, the ltter performs the redundnt nd monitored retining of the press rm. Description of the ccumultor module The ccumultor module is designed for connecting hydrulic ccumultor. It enles n energy-efficient pressure retention mode over long period of time. The mximum permissile ccumultor-chrging flow rte must e selected depending on the CE pressure relief vlve (see PS opertion mnul). During uxiliry process times, dditionl functions cn e operted from the ccumultor even when the min pump is off, or disconnected y the directionl vlve position 50. Different ML function modules cn e connected for this purpose. The ccumultor module includes ll the oil-side ccumultor sfety elements: the CE pressure relief vlve in different pressure stges (pos. 530), mnul decompression vlve, nd mechnicl pressure indictor. With the optionl directionl vlve pos. 50, the ccumultor cn e dischrged electriclly.
