I. Safety Rules Warning! Please use this product carefully to effectively avoid any possible danger resulting from using. Please observe the following safety regulations to avoid bodily injury due to electrocution during use. Read this Manual carefully before operating the product and preserve the Operation Manual properly. 1. Please check if the working environment is suitable for using the product. (1) Do not use the product in wet environments. (2) Do not use the product in flammable gas or liquid environment. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT EXPLOSION-PROOF. 2. When using the product, be sure to use and wear proper welding safety equipment. 3. When replacing any parts, confirm that the machine is in the power shutoff status. (1) Please check if the switch is in on or off status. Do not conduct the replacement when the machine is running. To replace parts or filter material, please ensure that the switch is in off status. 4. The use of extension cords should not exceed 50ft of 12/3 gauge. 5. Care and Maintenance (1) Please confirm that the parts/accessories have been fully assembled and will not affect the machine operation. (2) Please replace the damaged parts or accessories by the instructions of this manual and use only factory supplied parts. Page.2
II. Portable Welding Fume Extractor Safety Rules The Portable Welding Fume Extractor may cause danger if it is operated incorrectly. Therefore, the product must be used cautiously to avoid causing hazard or damage. Personal injuries may occur if welding Safety Rules are not followed. Read this Manual carefully before operating the product. 1. Be sure to follow local electrical and safety regulations and observe the electrical safety standards. 2. Do not operate the product near flammable materials, as sparks may ignite these materials and cause explosion. Please confirm there aren t any flammables near the working site to avoid hazard. 3. This product is suitable for collecting smoke and welding oil gas. Do not use it in collecting iron chips and dust at the same time to avoid producing sparks. 4. During replacement of parts or filter materials, check that the switch is in the off position. 5. The fan motor blades operate at high-speed; do not reach hand near these blades to prevent personal injury or clothes from getting caught. III. Packing and Assembly 1. The machine should be removed carefully from its packing to prevent loss of components. 2. Check to see if the machine and components are consistent with those indicated in the Parts List. 3. Power Connection a. The fume extractor is supplied with a standard 3-prong plug designed for 115VAC and 15amp service. VI. Operation 1. Connect power cord to a properly grounded outlet. 2. Assure that all filters are in the unit and that the front cabinet panel is properly secured. 3. Attach the vacuum hose and capture hood and install on magnetic stand assembly. 4. The fume extractor is turned on and off by pushing the I/O button. Page.4

(This filter should be inspected daily and cleaned as required) (2) PREFILTER captures 35% of the 2 10 micron small particles and it absorbs oil which extends the lives of the PLEATED FILTER & HEPA FILTER. (This filter should be inspected daily and cleaned as required) (3) PREFILTER captures 85% of the 1 2 micron small particles and it absorbs oil which extends the lives of the PLEATED FILTER & HEPA FILTER. (4) PLEATED FILTER to filter fine dusts, 0.5 micron. (5) PLEATED HEPA FILTER captures up to 99.97% of the 0.3 micron particles of the welding fumes. Page.5
