Horizon Patient Bed Light LED and Fluorescent Solutions
Horizon is the perfect blend of design, performance and durability. An aesthetically-pleasing form that minimizes the visual impact in the space. LED and fluorescent light source options that deliver high quality ambient and reading illumination. Die cast and extruded aluminum construction that ensures reliability. Indirect/Direct Light Pattern
Horizon offers features that satisfy the needs of the patient, healthcare staff and facility management in acute care and assisted living environments. Horizon is available with either an LED or fluorescent light source. The LED option provides 15.7% more lumens and consumes 28.5% less power than a comparable T5 fluorescent model. A variety of control options are available including a pull cord switch or integrated low voltage controller that interfaces with patient pillow controls. Horizon s tapered form minimizes its visual impact on the wall while enhancing the optical performance. The separate optical compartments promote an asymmetric light distribution that is ideal for indirect ambient illumination and direct lighting for patient reading. With its die-cast end caps and extruded aluminum body, Horizon is designed to withstand the daily demands of healthcare environments. Horizon is available in four standard colors all with an antimicrobial additive that inhibits the growth of microbes. Installation is completed in three easy steps and maintenance of components is simple. Lens can be removed without tools. 600 600 90 500 500 Switching The standard switching configuration has an on/off pull cord for the direct compartment with the indirect compartment controlled from a remote wall switch by others. An optional 4-position pull cord switch (HDS) for sequential control of the indirect and direct compartments is available. Pull switches are supplied with a plastic pull cord that is latexfree, stain-resistant, and easy to clean with standard disinfectants. An optional, integrated low voltage controller (LVC) that is compatible with industry standard pillow switches (by other), can be field wired for either sequential or individual switching of the indirect and direct compartments. Horizon can also be specified with less switch (LS) with remote switching (by others) controlling all functions. Electrical Electronic high power factor LED driver rated for 120 and 277 volts. Fluorescent models are provided with electronic, high power factor ballasts rated for 120 and 277 volts. 347 volt ballasts available for T8 lamp and 4' T5HO models. Ballasts are thermally protected and have a Class A sound rating. T5 and T5HO ballasts have end-of-life protection. 1200 0 LEGEND: 45 1000 0 LEGEND: Listing UL and cul listed for damp locations.
