PLANTING WHEEL ADJUSTMENTS Wter Shut-Off Hndle Collr Plumbing Vlve S.S. Axle Shft (S.S. Axle Shft) To mount plnting wheels nd plumbing. (Collrs-2) To hold position of plumbing vlves. (Plumbing Vlves) To djust wter flow. (Wter Shut-Off Hndle) To shut off wter supply. One or two plnting wheels cn be used t time. When using only one wheel, slide plumbing to one side of wheel or when using two wheels put plumbing in center. Plnting wheels re set in position with two bolts in center of wheel nd cn be moved sidewys on the xle shft. Plnting wheels will flex up nd down over uneven terrin. Cution; Mke sure plnting wheels re not puncturing drip tpe underneth plstic. Tire Axle Adjustment Tire xles need to be djusted for high beds. If more leg room is desired, shorten top link nd lower xles. Tire xle djustment bolt { 3

SEAT ADJUSTMENTS To djust set height, turn hndles(a) till set is in correct position. Turn hndle(b) to djust set left-to-right position for plnting comfort. To djust foot rest, loosen hndle (C) nd slide foot rest to desired plce. Optionl Triler Combintion A Note; This cn be dded to the Model 1200 nytime. OPTIONAL SUPER WHEEL The super wheel is very universl plnting wheel. Spike size nd spcing cn be chnged s preferred. A rubber grommet is used to close unused holes. Removing Spike Instlling Spike Push i Spike Plnting Wheel Push & snp in plce i Spike i Plnting Wheel Insert. How to instll the grommet How grommet should look when instlled. Helpful Tips For better crop stnd, plnting opertors should firmly press plnts into wter-filled hole. If plenty of wter is used, potted plnts will be seled nd do not need to be covered with soil. When using strter fertilizer, it needs to be gitted. Fertilizer is hevier thn wter nd will settle to the bottom of the tnk, resulting in possibly burning or killing the first couple hundred plnts. For fster plnting, opertors my put one try of plnts on their lp. If soil does not pste on plnting wheel, this mchine cn lso be used on bre soil. TROUBLESHOOTING 1. PROBLEM: SOLUTION: Plnter is used on bre soil, nd soil tends to pste onto plnting wheel. * Soil is too wet or wheel needs to be clened or repinted. * Stretch tire intertube over the wheel, leving some slck between the spikes. 2. PROBLEM: Not enough leg room. SOLUTION: * Adjust foot rest. See pge 4. * Adjust top link nd xle. See pge 3. 3. PROBLEM: Trctor cn t lift plnter.
