Major MOT / ATL Major MOT / ATL 4-post electro-hydraulic inspection lifts The program comprises 2 basic series an MOT series and an ATL series. The MOT series consists of Major 426B, Major 430B and Major 530B with lifting capacities of 4 and 5 t; and the ATL series of Major 4026BS, Major 4026BL, Major 430BL, Major 5230-60 and Major 6530-60 with lifting capacities of 4, 5.2 and 6.5 t. All the Major MOT and ATL lifts are CE-approved and feature robust, recessed turntables. They are top quality products that will give years and years of service. MOT lifts have recesses at front end of platforms with turntables; ATL lifts likewise; but they are furthermore equipped with a play detector in the right platform. The lifts can be installed either surface-mounted (with drive-on ramps) or recessed (with driveover ramps). If drivethrough installation is required, a set of ramps is fitted both front and rear. We offer a large program of optional extras for these lifts; among others 2 and 2.6 t scissor jacks and lighting sets.
Major MOT / ATL Major MOT / ATL 4-post electro-hydraulic inspection lifts The play detector has been developed in cooperation with the Swedish Vehicle Inspectorate and can be found in over 600 sites in Sweden. It is recognized to be the best unit on the market; and is pneumatically operated. The play detector (which is also available for pit application) can withstand a driveover axle load of 7.5 t and a stationary axle load of 3 t; i.e. it can be used for passenger cars as well as vans. When you work with one plate only, the movements of the play detector must be very fast and forceful something that is possible only if pneumatically operated. A hand lamp is used to operate the play detector both laterally and rotationally. The lifts are as standard delivered with an extra control unit to be fitted on front right post. The left platform is equipped with a checker plate.

With capacities of 4, 5.2 and 6.5 t the ATL program covers the entire range of passenger cars and vans. In the UK the test lane includes besides the ATL lift also a computerized brake tester.
