moving floors The moving floors are widely used in the wood panel industry for storing loose materials such as chips, sawdust, bark and recycled wood. They are very flexible systems, easy to implement, that can guarantee good dosing performances due to discharge screws driven by frequency converters. The feeding can be carried out through mechanical conveying systems or directly by truck. The material is moved toward the discharge hopper by means of a set of sliding frames located on the bottom of the and controlled via hydraulic pistons. The extraction is carried out through the alternate sliding movement of the frames. The hydraulic unit is equipped with several control and safety systems against overpressure. The discharge hopper is provided with a dosing screw, driven by a frequency converter. The automatic filling of the dosing screw is controlled through a set of level sensors. The material level in the storage is controlled by means of level sensor (radar).
