GENERAL INFORMATIONS Commode chairs are designed to enable the transport and mobility of disabled people in domestic or community environments. Commode chairs allow the patient to move (alone or with the driver according to the version) with ease and dexterity thanks to the front and rear rotating wheels and can also be temporarily used as a cabinet or can be placed directly on the domestic restroom TECHNICAL FEATURES 1.1Features common to various models 1. COMMODE ASSEMBLY Components Extract the commode chair and the cardboard packaging components Remove the armrest packs Remove the paper strip that wraps the seat and the basin W.C. Equipment To assemble the commode chair you need 2 keys from 10 (not supplied) Assembly the backrest To mount the backrest, insert the two ends only into the tapered hoses, then, once the holes coincide, insert the M6 screws and tighten with two 10-pole wrenches. Assembly Arms To install the armrests, insert the two ends into the respective housing by holding down the front pin (k) to make it click once in the seat. Adjustment of footrests Open the eccentric clamp (a) by pulling out the lever; Rotate, holding the pedestal (b) in the front position; Lock the clamp. Turn the plastic feet (c) in the horizontal position. Adjusting the pedestal To lift the dais group, push upwards by holding down the lever (d); Reach the desired position, release the lever, the lock is automatic. To lower it, act on the lever (d) while holding down until you reach the desired position. Backrest adjustment to recruit the backrest: 1. unscrew the clamps with the handwheel (m) on the back 2. Push back the backrest to the desired position 3. Firmly close the terminals

USE Both wheels must be braked as braking only in the presence of slopes even at the slightest one could have a wheelbase imbalance that would not guarantee the safety of the user. The Model VC 100 features integrated brakes in the rear wheel groups: To brake, depress the back of the control lever downward until the brake is locked. To release the brakes, bring the lever back to the horizontal position by pressing the foot on the front of the brake. The VC 200, VC 400, VC 500 models are equipped with fixed-wheel disc brakes; To brake, depress the control lever down until the brake is locked. To release the brakes, bring the lever back to rest. CAUTION. To prevent damage, the brake control levers provided with a plastic knob must only be used with their hands. Instructions for Use The patient to sit or stand should always be helped and assisted. To facilitate the patient's erection and sitting, lift the plastic footrests by rotating them. Sit the patient firmly on the seat, resting well on the back, the basin on the pillow and the legs on the seat. Be careful to adjust the pedestal properly, so that the knees are not too high or too low in relation to the seat, this will allow correct circulation of blood on the lower limbs. To put it back on, turn the screw on. To remove the wheel from the fork, unscrew the nut from M8, holding the screw with the 13 keys.

Brakes In case of replacement of wheels or tires with tread wear, you may need to adjust the lever brakes; Act as follows: In the case of a pneumatic wheel, make sure that it is properly inflated Loosen the nut located on the inside of the hose supporting brake Slide the brake assembly to the wheel to get proper braking Tighten the nut again N.B. Brake calibration must be performed on both sides in such a way that braking is symmetrical WARRANTY Vaimas products are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects for 24 months from the date of delivery / purchase, which can be detected by a regular tax invoice (invoice or receipt). For the application of the Warranty, you must contact your distributor and display the tax document (receipt or invoice) that disclose the actual application of this Warranty (purchase / delivery date). Shipping and packaging costs, as well as transfer costs, are borne by the buyer. You must ask for the authorization to return the goods.
