Page 6 Volvo Cars reveals new S60 and V60 Cross Country The S60 and V60, now with all-road and all-weather capability New rugged design with increased ride height Both front and all-wheel drive choice for buyers Extends Volvo s acclaimed Cross Country product line-up Volvo Cars unveiled the long-awaited Cross Country version of its successful V60 sports wagon at the 2014 LA Motor Show. The New S60 Cross Country conveys an imposing, muscular presence that echoes its capable nature. Integrated tailpipes reflect its sporty dark side, while the roomy, leather interior, with ergonomic sport seats, speaks of pure luxury. We are delighted to add the third true Cross Country model to our product portfolio. The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the V60 Cross Country in a class of its own, said Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management at Volvo Cars. In the UK, the Volvo V60 has continually been in the top 3 of the sales charts for Volvo since its launch. The V60 was refreshed in 2013 with a new front and rear, along with a host of feature updates. To further extend the appeal of the V60, at the end of 2014, the V60 received a brand new Drive-E engine from Volvo s own in-house designed and built engine platform, the 181hp, 2.0 litre, 4-cylinder, D4 diesel. The V60 Cross Country will be offered in the UK with the D3 FWD, D4 FWD and D4 AWD. Prices and specification will be announced and orders will be able to be placed during quarter 1 of 2015. Production will commence for UK placed orders in May and deliveries are expected to start from late June. Heritage The Cross Country brand has a long and distinguished heritage. What's Covered Unlike most MOT Test Guarantee policies, our MOT Test Guarantee covers almost all faults. The full list below contains the specific parts whose repair or replacement cost is covered by the MOT Test Guarantee. The parts specified are covered as a direct consequence of being cited in an MOT fail sheet (Form VT30) as causing the vehicle to fail. Lighting Equipment Lamps, reflectors, indicators and bulbs are covered for failure due to discolouration, misalignment, water ingress and corrosion. Steering and Suspension Manual and power steering units, suspensions drag links, track rods/ends, shock absorbers, steering joints, mountings, sub frames and wheel bearings are covered for failure due to wear, seizure, leakage and insecurity. Braking System Brake master cylinder, wheel cylinder, callipers, discs/drums, load compensator, ABS modulator/sensors/computers and brake pipes, hoses, cables are covered for failure due to wear, leakage, seizure, split/cracks, corrosion and adjustment. Seat Belts Mountings, belts, retractors and buckles are covered for failure due to wear, non-function and insecurity. General Windscreen wiper arm and motors. Where liability for the cost of repairs is admitted, the policy holder will be reimbursed for repair costs, up to a maximum aggregate of 750 including VAT during the period of Test Guarantee. IMPORTANT Please note that this MOT Test Guarantee does not cover the following: accidental or malicious damage, neglect or wear and tear reported during the vehicle's previous service, actual tuning or adjustments to the fuel system and windscreen wiper blades, tyres, wheels, exhaust systems, catalytic converters.
