Introduction Hi! You re probably reading this because you ve recently had a charge point installed and need to know more about how things work. We are your charge point operator, ParknRecharge. We manage your charge points by controlling who can access them, and record how much energy they use. If you have any problems with your charge points, we are your point of contact. We will help you fix issues; either remotely or by arranging visits from our engineers. Electric vehicle registrations have grown by 2400% since 2013. It s high time to make sure you re getting the best charging solution. ParknRecharge provides workplace and residential charging point solutions and have 15 years experience of working within EV infrastructure. We have used this experience to create an agnostic charge point management system Hubeleon. This means that you can use multiple ChargePoint manufacturers and manage them all from one ParknRecharge portal. Some of current customers are Intel, Drive Electric, Connected Energy, Electric Blue, E-Car Club and Apple to name a few. We have ABB, ABL, CirControl evolt, DBT Delta, EBG Compleo, Efacec, Etrel, EC Charging, Mennekes and Schneider EV Link range charging point models currently managed on our charge point management system.
How to use charge points
How do users access a charging point? Often cards are the easiest way to access a chargepoint. Across Europe it s the most widely standardised means to provide users with a fast and easy way to verify their identity and track utilisation. We provide card ordering services (web and telephone) for drivers, dispatching cards with a next day delivery service. We can provide foyer cards, or card batches for pool cars and employees. If you require a card please contact our support team. User Guide 1) Start Charge Plug in cable to car Swipe ParknRecharge card Plug-in cable to charger A blue light will indicate charging 2) End Charge Swipe Parknrecharge card to end charging (be sure to use the same card that was used to start the charging event). Disconnect car from charger A green light indicates the is charger available again Fault Alert In the unlikely event that a fault does occur please contact our customer support team and we ll get it sorted as quickly as possible. If you need to retrieve your cable urgently request the charger owner cut off power supply to the charger
Portal login All ParknRecharge post owners receive a login to monitor their charge point usage, add new users and report faults. Charging at the workplace has become the preferred means of charging. OLEV have decreed that only Smart (Communicating) charge points can be installed under their grant. If you received OLEV funding you will need to provide charging usage data for three years from installation. You can download this usage data from your portal login. From the portal you can: Track and report faults Export Usage data See how much electricity users consume Record charging cycles Please notify your installer of the person or email address that you would like to have access to the portal login.
Service and maintenance agreement What is included in your basic service and maintenance agreement? Annual service - inspection of the Charge Point, feeder pillar, their wiring, weather seals, circuit protection devices and earth continuity. Visual check for sticker and signage issues. Commissioning - Connection of the equipment to the CPMS within 5 working days of installation and commissioning. Remote customer support Charging point faults can be investigated by our customer support team. Warranty callouts to your charging point within 5 working days. Frequently Asked Questions
Can people outside of my organisation access the charging points? We will provide you with access cards and a login for app access to create a whitelist of approved users. Only users who are granted access by you the charging point owner will be added to the whitelist. We ve lost an access card, what do we do? Report it lost via the portal login or via our customer support team. The card will then be blocked. Do ParknRecharge provide charging cables? No, however we can place you in contact with a recommended supplier. Normally however the electric vehicle owner will have their own cable. Can someone steal the charging cable from the charger? No, a pin mechanism locks the cable in place. Only the user who began the charging event can end the charging event and unlock the cable. Is graffiti or user damage covered by my warranty? Unfortunately cosmetic rectification works are not covered by your warranty. Should your charging points be damaged in this way please contact our customer support team and they will quote you for the repair.
Can we grant access to charging points outside of work hours? The best way to do this would be to join any local public charging point scheme. We can notify you of any operating if your region and inform them of your parking restrictions. Would we need to give the scheme access cards? No, with your permission we would add the schemes whitelist to your charging points. Do ParknRecharge have PAYG facilities? Yes, please contact our support team to set a tariff and payment structure. I received 10 access cards with my Schneider charger, will these work my ParknRecharge charging points? Upon installation these have been returned to us so we can add them to your approved whitelist. Please advise our support team of who is responsible for your charging point on site and we will return them. What if all the charge points are full? Your users can login to be added to a queuing system. They will be notified once a charging point is free. We have other charging points at different locations, can these be added to ParknRecharge? Our management system supports ABB, ABL, CirControl evolt, DBT Delta, EBG Compleo, Efacec, Etrel, EC Charging, Mennekes and Schneider EV Link range. As the post owner just let your current CPMS provider know that you wish to change providers and we will sort out the rest.
Checklist Have I nominated and provided ParknRecharge with contact details for the site facilities staff responsible for the charging points? This person should have up to date knowledge of access protocols for the site. Do I have my portal login username and password? Do we have any access cards or fobs that we would like added to the whitelist? Are all of my charging points online? Have we notified ParknRecharge of any parking restrictions which may affect access to the charging points?
