The kit is made of a cold shrink material (EPM rubber) that is quick and easy to install on the gland, and contains no chlorides or sulfurs. The kit installs easily over the gland without the use of a heat source to shrink the material tightly over the seal. The material can be removed easily from the gland by simply cutting it off.
