TH CHALLNG There is a significant need for economical and sustainable energy sources in vast areas in developing countries located in Africa, Asia, the Middle ast, and Central and South America. Current estimates place the global power need of non-electrified nations at $2.5 trillion. Overall demand for Mobile Power Grid (MPG) systems will continually increase through 2020 due to anticipated high growth in the automotive, wind, solar, grid, and renewable energy storage segments. In many world areas, especially small, rural villages, electricity is a luxury that exists for 2-4 hours/day at best. The United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared 2014-2024 as the Decade of Sustainable nergy for All, and stated Universal energy access, increasing the use of renewable energy, improved energy efficiency, and addressing the nexus between energy and health, food, water, and other development issues are at the heart of all countries core interest. There is an impetus from the governments of these nations to invest heavily in infrastructure, housing, healthcare, and education, which is opening significant opportunities for energy business development in these areas. TH ARP SOLUTION ADVANTAG Advanced Renewable Power LLC (ARP) is The Mobile Power Grid (MPG) Company. Our products are specifically designed for countries with deficient electric power grids. Our MPG products are self-sustaining power generating units that are installed on trailers, containers, and semi-trucks. MPG systems can park next to villages, small towns, big city zones, hospitals, military camps, and all kinds of off-grid areas that are without electricity. MPG systems include; generators, power conversion systems, batteries, wind turbines, solar panels. The Infinigrid technology provides mobile power optimization, integration, balancing, and battery management software systems. Our systems fall into a hybrid class due to their ability to integrate with alternate energy sources such as solar, wind, and in case of an existing grid from the grid. Our generators will run at a 50% to 70% reduction in fossil fuel consumption compared to generator alone. Our products are capable of delivering 25 kwh (Kilo-watt-hours) to over 5000 kwh depending on need. We bring specific technology superiority in quick-charging and intelligent battery management systems with IP (intellectual properties) in these areas. Our team has over 300 years of experience in developing batteries and mobile power solutions. Our team has produced units for the US military and the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. It provides continual monitoring and status information via satellite to ARP s remote Telematics system. It will receive schedules and system updates from the Telematics system. Power Generation Provides power to recharge the Batteries and directly provide power during peak loads. Power Conversion The PCS changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) and vice versa as needed between the modules within the MPG. It also changes the voltage or frequency, as well as combinations of these and includes other far more complex systems tasks. nergy Storage The nergy Storage is more than just a battery. It is an energy management system. It contains a series of specially engineered lithium-ion battery modules in a very controlled environment to optimize the longevity and charging/discharging rates of the batteries. This significantly increases the life expectancy and capability of the battery system. Advanced Renewable Power, LLC 2
Renewable Power There are many forms of alternate energy available. Depending on the strengths or ability of a particular location to provide alternate energy in an economically feasible manner, the ARP MPG system can accommodate and incorporate most any of them and in any combination. xternal MPG Grid(s) These are one or more additional MPG units linked together with this unit to provide power to various zones within a designated area (town, city, county, municipality, etc.). xternal Grid This may be an existing power grid that was there prior to the MPG being deployed. This grid may have been providing unreliable power to the area it was servicing. It may however be used to provide power for those portions of the day that it can do so. In return the MPG can be used to provide excess power to the xternal xisting Grid when economically feasible. Satellite The encrypted secure satellite system allows communication between each individual MPG InfiniGrid (Smart Grid Management ) and ARP s Telematics system, monitoring each MPG s for performance, optimization, and meta-data collection. It can also be used to download control commands and system updates. Future enhancements can provide local cable TV and internet service, telephone and cell phone service, remote health services and provide The immersive Global University (TiGU) Infrastructure for education. Remote Telematics Telematics performs, system diagnostics, system monitoring and global monitoring. This is a centralized system monitored by ARP of all deployed MPG systems. It is used for monitoring the health and status of each MPG system. The system gathers meta-data for use in predictive modeling and optimization, scheduled maintenance, etc. If there are any component system failures Telematics will deploy appropriate maintenance personnel, equipment and repair components. Any updates to local MPG system software can be deployed by Telematics. Local Grid Provides uninterruptable power to remote locations. The local grid then delivers stable energy to homes, schools, clinics, businesses and local constabulary. Phone Cable Internet ducation Provides fee based access to the internet, and broadcast for local education, information and emergency services, and phone services Advanced Renewable Power, LLC 3
