Connecting your accessory Your accessory requires 12-18 volts (AC). You may use a separate accessory power supply, Lionel Lockon (available separately, 6-62900), or FasTrack Accessory Power Wire (available separately, 6-12053). To make the proper connections, the wires must be stripped back 1/8 to 1/4. Caution! Only an adult should perform this task. Use a pair of wire strippers. Always use care when stripping wires. 1. Plug the wire connector into the jack on the underside of the accessory. Refer to Figure 1. 2. Connect the red wire to the Power/A terminal on your power supply or to the #1 terminal on your Lionel Lockon. For FasTrack connections, twist the bare end of the wire to the end of an Accessory Power Wire. 3. Connect the black wire to the Common/Ground/U terminal on your power supply or to the #2 terminal on your Lionel Lockon. For FasTrack connections, twist the bare end of the wire to the end of an Accessory Power Wire. 4. Connect the remaining two wires to the separate switch. Loosen the screw terminals, wrap the bare ends of the wires around the posts, and tighten the screws to secure the connections.
