Remove the underbody panel on the driver side with a straight screw driver and a mm socket. Place off to the side for later reinstallation. With a straight screwdriver and Phillips driver, remove the center bumper support bracket and loosen the () side brackets from the cover. Return the center bracket to the vehicle owner. PASSENGER SIDE ACCESS HOLE DRIVER SIDE DRILL HOLE ENLARGE EXISTING HOLE. Enlarge the () existing mounting holes toward the rear of the vehicle with a /" drill bit. Using the hitch as a template, drill the () remaining mounting holes and fishwire remaining fasteners into position.. Fishwire the supplied bolts and spacers into the enlarged holes. Raise hitch into position, with the hitch tube in the bumper cavity, and loosely install the supplied hex flange nuts. 6. Torque all 7/6" fasteners to 59 lb.-ft. Reinstall underbody panel, rubber plugs and () side brackets to bumper cover.
