S The Stenhoj Mobile 72 Wireless hoist is a Electro-hydraulic column lift, equipped to lift vehicles at the wheels. tenhoj Mobile72 hoists have been submitted by our engineer to the Western Australian Department of Consumer and Employment Protection (WorkSafe), who require full specifications and calculations to be supplied to gain approval. This WA approval is recognised by all other Australian states and territories. Operation of the hoist can be in a configuration from two posts, with increments of 2 up to 10 posts i.e. set of 2, set of 4, set of 6 or set of 8. Can be operated from any post, making them flexible to the work environment and easy to use. Flexibility; due to the fact that they are battery powered gives them the ability to be used either indoors or outdoors. Each post has 4 x 12 volt batteries working in series providing a 24 volt operating system. The batteries are environmentally safe and maintenance free. Safety: Synchronisation with safety shut-off combined with mechanical locking device on each column. To protect the operating systems from water or other fluids the control box is rated IP44 proof. Inter post communication is achieved by a high quality wireless local area network (wlan), providing interference free operation. Due to the computer controlled operation over the electric / hydraulic system keeps maintenance and running cost to a minimum. Each post has tynes which are adjustable to suit different size tyres, with a generous clearance between the wheel stop and the post. Comprehensive range of service spare parts is carried at our Sydney facility with STENHOJ keeping an extensive backup range of spares for all models. 1
The Stenhoj Mobile72WB can be delivered in sets of 4, 6, 8 or 10 columns, with a maximum of 10 sets operating on independent frequencies. Inter post communication is achieved by a specifically designed wireless local area network (wlan) for this application by our own German engineers, providing interference free operation. (Up to ten sets can be used in one location.) The hoist can be operated from any column in the lift set using the integrated control panel with LCD screen display. The display shows: Active columns within the lift set. Active operation mode Height in cm Battery condition Hoist lock Hoist operation speed Up and down buttons Radio communication signal quality, this signal is used for the wireless remote control. Education button. Screen brightness. The power source is by batteries with a total capacity of 110 AH. The batteries are environmentally friendly The number of lift cycles on charged batteries are approximately 20 lifts with a full load or 30 with a half load. It takes approximately 8 hours to recharge a flat battery and approximately 30 minutes to recharge 1 lift cycle. The batteries have approximately a 3 year lifetime. The batteries can be charged during operation allowing for full battery standby. Charging cables are mounted on each column to plug into the next column, thus one single 10amp mains supply is sufficient to charge the complete lift set. Safety equipment: Synchronisation with safety shut-off stops movement if system deviation limit is exceeded. Lockable main switch with emergency stop at every column. Dead man control, when releasing the operation buttons the corresponding movement stops. Electro-magnetic lock at each column. Hydraulic release if operation fails. 2
Positioning is made easy by a spring loaded jockey wheel with locking brake on the rear of each column and fixed 125mm wheels on the front legs. Adjustable wheel forks allow for wheel sizes from 155R13 up to 13R22.5 (550mm to 1140mm). Lifting arms have a usable length of 300mm with a generous clearance between the wheel stop and post of 230mm. The hydraulic cylinders in the columns are self lubricating and the cylinder rams are protected by the lifting carriage. The ram stands upright to allow for fixed plumbing. Each column is corrosion-proof surface treated all Stenhoj lifts are led through a sling purifying plant (according to SA2.50 ISO Norm 8501 1:2007), dipped in primer and finally led through an electro-static powder coating bake plant.
