Its urban attitude and off-road characteristics live side by side, offering a superior on-road performance and the legendary Jeep capabilities. The Jeep Cherokee features two 4x4 systems: Jeep Active Drive I and Jeep Active Drive II, each with rear-axle disconnect and Selec-Terrain traction control system with four customized modes: Auto, Snow, Sport and Sand/Mud. The rear-axle disconnect seamlessly switches between front and four-wheel drive when 4x4 traction is needed. JEEP ACTIVE DRIVE I: full-time active one-speed Rear Drive Module (RDM) with reduced weight, balanced torque distribution and brake traction control. Available on Longitude, Limited and Overland. The rear cargo space now offers up to 570 liters of storage space that can easily accommodate golf clubs or groceries for everyday adventures. Access to all of this space is made easier thanks to the new hands-free power liftgate: simply swipe your foot below the rear bumper to release the liftgate so it can gently and automatically open. 20 21
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR TRAIL. The available 7-inch full-colour reconfigurable TFT instrument cluster allows the ease of a customized user experience, receiving information and vehicle feedback in a selected format such as turn-by-turn navigation, Selec-Terrain setting or safety features. The available ParkSense Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist System is displayed in the centre of the gauge cluster and guides the driver when parking. Specifically, it recognizes open parking spaces and with the push of a button, the guidance system steers the vehicle while directing the driver to shift gears and operate the brake and accelerator. 22 23

DRIVE IN A SAFETY LANE. LANE DEPARTURE WARNING PLUS Tactile, visual and audible warnings are given should the vehicle drift outside of lane boundaries or if the driver s hands are off the steering wheel. BLIND SPOT MONITORING AND REAR CROSS-PATH DETECTION These systems monitor the space between the vehicle and other drivers. When a side or rear blind spot is encroached, the driver is notified via illuminated icons on sideview mirrors or an audible chime. ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL-PLUS Using combined throttle and brake control, this available system automatically adjusts its speed to a pre-selected distance when it detects slower traffic ahead, helping ensure you keep a safe distance. FULL-SPEED FORWARD COLLISION WARNING WITH PEDESTRIAN EMERGENCY BRAKING This available system uses radar sensors to detect if the Cherokee is approaching another vehicle too rapidly, alerting the driver with an audible chime. Advanced Brake Assist increases brake pressure if it senses the driver is not braking hard enough. 26 27
